Abstract
Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Sipil (DPTS) merupakan salah-satu departemen di UPI yang di dalam program studinya terdapat Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan (PTB), yang merupakan program studi yang padaa misinya mencetak para lulusannya sebagai calon guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), namunMahasiswa Program Studi PTB mempunyai alternatif lapangan kerja, bekerja sebagai tenaga kerja di bidang teknik sipil ataupun Guru SMK Bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kemampuan mengajar pada pelaksanaan PPL terhadap motivasi Mahasiswa Prodi PTB untuk menjadi guru SMK bangunan. Penelitian inimerupakanpenelitiandeskriptifkuantitatif. Instrumenpengmpulan data menggunakanangket. RespondenpadapenelitianiniadalahMahasiswa Prodi PTB angkatan 2014 yang telahmelaksanakan PPL. Teknikanalisis data yang digunakanadalahanalisiskorelasiproduct moment.Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan mengajar pada pelaksanaan PPL memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat terhadap motivasi Mahasiswa Prodi PTB untuk menjadi guru SMK bangunan, dan kemampuan mengajar pada pelaksanaan PPL memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap motivasi Mahasiswa Prodi PTB untuk menjadi guru SMK bangunan. Maka dari itu, jika Mahasiswa Prodi PTB benar-benar memanfaatkan pelaksanaan PPL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengajarnya maka akan meningkatkan secara signifikan motivasi Mahasiswa Prodi PTB untuk menjadi guru SMK bangunan;---The Department of Civil Engineering Education (DPTS) is one of the departments in UPI which in its study program there is the Building Engineering Education Study Program (PTB), which is a study program whose mission is to print graduates as prospective vocational high school (SMK) teachers, but PTB Study Program students have alternative employment opportunities, work as civil engineering workers or Building Vocational Teachers. This study aims to determine the contribution of teaching ability to the implementation of PPL to the motivation of PTB Study Program students to become building vocational teachers. This research is quantitative descriptive. Instruments for collecting data using questionnaires. Respondents in this study were students of the 2014 PTB Study Program who had implemented PPL. The data analysis technique used is product moment correlation analysis. The research findings show that the teaching ability in the implementation of PPL has a strong enough relationship to the motivation of students PTB study program to become a building vocational teacher, and the teaching ability in implementing PPL has a significant contribution to the motivation of PTB Study Program students to become building vocational teachers. Therefore, if the PTB Study Program students really take advantage of the implementation of PPL to improve their teaching skills, it will significantly increase the motivation of PTB Study Program students to become building vocational teachers.
