Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi data dari Badan Pusat Statistik pada bulan Februari tahun 2019, dimana Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) dilihat dari tingkat pendidikan untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) masih paling tertinggi diantara pendidikan lain yaitu sebesar 8,63%. Selain itu perkembangan kebutuhan keahlian yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia kerja selalu berkembang, sehingga kompetensi lulusan SMK sendiri harus selalu diperbaharui sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan saat ini agar mampu bersaing didunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi tingkat relevansi antara Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Listrik pada Mata Pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik di SMK Cendekia Batujajar dengan Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian itu sendiri menunjukan bahwa Silabus/RPP dan pembelajaran praktikum dari Mata Pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik di SMK Cendekia Batujajar sudah relevan dengan poin-poin yang ditetapkan di dalam SKKNI. Untuk Silabus/RPP sendiri hanya 2 sub poin SKKNI yang tidak sesuai, yaitu materi tentang Instalasi Tenaga yang tidak diajarkan pada Mata Pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik namun diajarkan pada materi lain. Sedangkan pada pembelajaran praktikum, hanya 1 poin SKKNI yang tidak ada pada Silabus/RPP yaitu mengenai pembelajaran praktikum Memasang Lampu Penerangan Jalan Umum, sisanya mampu memenuhi standar yang ditentukan SKKNI Sub Bidang Konstruksi. In addition, the development needs of the skills needed by the workforce is always evolving, so that the competence of SMK graduates must always be updated as needed today to be able to compete in the workforce. This research aims to know how high the level of relevance between the competency of electrical installation engineering expertise on the subjects of electrical lighting installation in SMK Cendekia Batujajar with the standard of Indonesian National Work competence (SKKNI). This research uses a qualitative method of descriptive with a case study approach. The results of the research show that the syllabus/RPP and practical learning from the electrical lighting installation course at SMK Cendekia Batujajar are relevant to the points set out in the SKKNI. For the syllabus/RPP itself is only 2 SKKNI sub points that are not appropriate, namely the material about the installation of energy that is not taught in the electrical lighting installation subjects but is taught on other materials. Meanwhile, in practical learning, only 1 SKKNI point that does not exist in the syllabus/RPP that is about practical learning to install public street lighting lamps, the rest are able to meet the standards specified SKKNI Sub-field construction.
