Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Rias dan Busana tari Sekar Keputren di Sanggar Seni Sekar Pandan Keraton Kacirebonan Kota Cirebon. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti berusaha untuk mengungkap informasi mengenai analisis pada rias dan busana Tari Sekar Keputren yang dilaksanakan di Sanggar Seni Sekar Pandan Keraton Kacirebonan yang beralamat di Jalan Pulasaren Nomor 74 Komplek Keraton Kacirebonan, Kelurahan Pulasaren, Kecamatan Pekalipan, Kota Cirebon. Tari Sekar Keputren dilatarbelakangi adanya ciri kehidupan kaum bangsawan hingga akhirnya menjadi sebuah tradisi dan menjadi identitas sebuah keraton. Tari Sekar Keputren merupakan salah satu tarian penyambutan tamu agung di Keraton Kacirebonan yang berkarakter halus, mencerminkan sikap para putri keraton. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti mengenai beberapa masalah yang terdapat pada penelitian ini yaitu rias dan busana tari Sekar Keputren di Sanggar Seni Sekar Pandan Keraton Kacirebonan Kota Cirebon. Peneliti mendeskripsikannya melalui kajian yang digunakan dengan metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dikaji melalui pendekatan teori Fisiognomi dan Antropologi. Data-data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasilnya analisis tata rias dan busana yang digunakan dalam tari Sekar Keputren terdeskripsikan, baik yang mencerminkan identitas keraton Kacirebonan sebagai tempat tercipta dan berkembangnya tari Sekar Keputren maupun menyangkut dengan karakteristik tari Sekar Keputren itu sendiri. The title of research is Make Up And Clothes Of Sekar Keputren Dance At Sekar Pandan Dance Studio, Kacirebonan Palace, Cirebon City. In this case, the researcher attempted to reveal information about the analysis of the Sekar Keputren Dance make up and clothes that was held at the Sekar Pandan Dance Studio, Kacirebonan Palace, at Pulasaren street 74, around the environment of Kacirebonan Palace, Pulasaren village, Pekalipan District, Cirebon City. Sekar Keputren dance is motivated by the characteristics of aristocratic life and eventually becomes a tradition and becomes the identity of a palace. Sekar Keputren Dance is one of the great guest welcoming dances at the Kacirebonan Palace which has a smooth character, reflecting the attitude of the royal daughters. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers regarding several problems found in this research, make up and clothes of Sekar Keputren dance at Sekar Pandan Art Studio Kacirebonan Palace, Cirebon City. The researcher described it through a study that was used with a descriptive method of analysis with a qualitative approach, examined through a phisiognomy and antropology of dance approach. Data obtained from the results of observations, interviews and documentation studies. For the result, there had some make up and clothing that used in Sekar Keputren dance, either Keraton Palace identity description as the places that created and developed Sekar Keputren dance, or characteristic of Sekar Keputren relationship itself.
