Abstract
Melihat kinerja tugas wasit yang sangat tidak mudah dalam memimpin suatu pertandingan apalagi dengan waktu pertandingan yang relatif lama serta mengambil keptutusan alam hitungan detik. Maka sering terjadi masalah suatu kesalahan yang berhubungan dengan pemahaman peraturan dan kebugaran jasmani wasit dengan pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan peneliti adalah mengetahui korelasi pemahaman peraturan dan kebugaran jasmani dengan pengambilan keputusan wasit bolabasket. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel adalah wasit PERBASI Jawa Barat yang berlisensi B. Alat ukur penelitian adalah tes multi tahap, angket dan penilain pengambilan keputusan saat pertandingan oleh koordinator wasit yang bertugas dalam kejuaran bolabasket. Berdasarkan pengolahan data, diperoleh temuan bahwa secara umum pemahaman peraturan dan kebugaran jasmani wasit basket PERBASI Jawa Barat mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan. Atas dasar temuan, disarankan agar wasit bolabasket mempunyai tingakat pemahaman dan kebugaran jasmani yang tinggi supaya pergerakan atau mobilitas pada saat memimpin pertandingan menjadi lebih luas dan dapat memutuskan suatu kejadian denggan baik pada saat memimpin pertandingan bolabasket. ;---Looking at the performance of the referee’s complex job in guiding a quite long competition and making decision within seconds. Accordingly, some problems frequently happened regarding the referee’s regulation understanding and physical fitness in the process of decision-making. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between regulation understanding and physical fitness with the basketball referee’s decision-making. This study employed qualitative method. The sample of this study was a B-licensed West Java PERBASI referee. This study employed multi stage test, questionnaire and decision making appraisal during the competition by the referee coordinator who served in the basketball competition as its instrument. According to the data analysis, the findings revealed that generally the West Java PERBASI basketball referee’s regulation understanding and physical fitness have significant effect in the process of decision-making. Based on the findings, it was suggested that basketball referee should be qualified in terms of regulation understanding and physical fitness so its movement and mobility will be improving and able to make appropriate decision during the basketball competition.
