Abstract
Dunia usaha dan industri di Indonesia saat ini menjadi ajang kompetisi yang ketat dan menuntut adanya kualitas lulusan SMK yang handal dan kompeten. Dalam kondisi demikian profesionalitas dan profesionalisme guru SMK menjadi salah satu aspek utama keberhasilan SMK dalam memenuhi tuntutan tersebut. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan profesionalitas dan profesionalisme guru SMKN di Kota Bandung pada program keahlian ketenagalistrikan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan DUDI. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga SMK Negeri di Kota Bandung khususnya yang mempunyai program keahlian ketenagalistrikan pada paket keahlian Teknik Instalasi dan Pemanfaatan Tenaga Listrik (TIPTL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis data melalui serangkaian reduksi data dan hasil triangulasi dengan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, ketua program studi, dan guru paket keahlian TIPTL sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme yang dimiliki sebagian besar personil guru SMKN paket keahlian TIPTL telah memenuhi persyaratan sertifikasi profesi, namun dalam proses penyelenggaraan pendidikan aspek profesionalitas seluruh personil guru masih menjadi kendala.----------- The business and industry in Indonesia is now the scene of intense competition and demanding quality of Vocational High School graduates reliable and competent. In such conditions the Vocational High School teachers’ professionality and professionalism to be one of the main aspects of Vocational High School success in meeting these demands. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the Professionality and Professionalism of Electrification Expertize Program Vocational High School Teachers in Bandung City in meeting the needs DUDI. This research conducted in the three Vocational High School in Bandung in particular who have to expertize electrification program on membership packages Mechanical Installation and Use of Electric Power (TIPTL). The method used is descriptive qualitative data analysis through a series of data reduction and results of triangulation with the vice principal of curriculum areas, the head of the study program, and teacher packages TIPTL expertize as a research subject. These results indicate that the professionalism which is owned largely Vocational High School teacher personnel TIPTL membership package meets the requirements of professional certification, but in the process of education, aspects of teacher professionalism of all personnel remain a constraint.
