Abstract
Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan fenomena kurangnya kesadaran karir siswa SD. Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas teknik modeling untuk mengembangkan kesadaran karir siswa SD. Metode penelitian yakni kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent pre test and post test control group design. Partisipan penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tingkat kesadaran karir. Pengujian efektivitas teknik modeling untuk mengembangkan kesadaran karir siswa dengan menggunakan rumus uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : 1) kecenderungan tingkat kesadaran karir siswa SD Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 berada dalam kategori sedang; 2) rumusan program layanan bimbingan karir menggunakan teknik modeling memenuhi kelayakan menurut pakar dan praktisi; 3) teknik modeling yang telah dilaksanakan terbukti dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan kesadaran karir siswa. Teknik modeling dapat digunakan oleh Guru BK untuk mengembangkan kesadaran karir sesuai dengan prosedur pelaksanaan yang telah disusun.----------The study was carried out based on the lack career awarness of elementary student. The study aimed to test the effectiveness of modeling techniques to develop elementary student’s career awareness. The method used quasi experimental with nonequivalent pre test and post test control group design. The participants were students of fifth grade Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Elementary School for the academic year 2017/2018. Data collection used career awareness questionaire. The effectiveness of modeling techniques to develop student’s career awareness by using t-test formula. The results showed that: 1) the tendency of career awareness level of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo elementary school in academic year 2017/2018 was at the medium category; 2) according to the expert and practitioner, modeling technique fulfilled the feasibility to be able to implemented; 3) modeling technique could develop student’s career awareness. Modeling technique could be used by guidance and counselor teacher according to procedure.
