Abstract
Penelitian ini dengan judul “Pembinaan Kompetensi Guru oleh Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung”. Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah tentang seberapa besar pengaruh pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran aktual mengenai pengaruh pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung. Untuk menjawab permasalahan, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup, dan yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung sebanyak 23 sekolah, dengan mengambil sampel penelitian menurut perhitungan rumus dari Taro Yamane adalah sebanyak 76 guru. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian menggunakan motede statistik dengan dibantu program Microsoft Excel 2007 dan SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kecenderungan umum dengan menggunakan WMS (Weighted Mean Scored), menunjukkan bahwa variabel X (pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah) memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,29 dengan kategori sangat baik dan untuk variabel Y (kinerja guru) memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,44 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan statistik non parametrik dikarenakan hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data variabel X dan Y berdistribusi tidak normal, dan selanjutnya perhitungan analisis korelasi dengan menggunakan rumus Spearmen Rho diperoleh angka 0,699 yang menunjukkan bahwa variabel X (pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah) dan variabel Y (kinerja guru) memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 48,86% sedangkan sisanya 51,14% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kemudian dengan hasil uji signifikansi diperoleh 8,409 ≥ 1,671. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru pada SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung berada pada kategori sangat baik. Adapun tingkat hubungan pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah berpengaruh kuat terhadap kinerja guru. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan kompetensi guru oleh kepala sekolah tidak hanya satu-satunya yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru, akan tetapi terdapat beberapa variabel lain diluar variabel penelitian ini tetapi dalam lingkup kajian yang sama, antara lain: suasana/lingkungan kerja, sarana dan prasarana, jaminan sosial dan lain sebagainya. This study, entitled "Coaching Competence Teacher by the Principal of the Teacher Performance in Elementary School at Sukasari Bandung District". Issues discussed in this study is about how much influence teachers' competence development by principals on teacher performance . The purpose of this research is to gain an overview of the actual influence of coaching competence of teachers by principals on teacher performance in elementary school at Sukasari Bandung district . To solve the problem , the methods used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach . Data collection techniques using the enclosed questionnaire , and the population in this study were all public elementary school teachers in the District of Bandung Sukasari many as 23 schools , according to research by taking a sample of Taro Yamane formula calculations are as many as 76 teachers . Processing of data in research using statistical motede assisted program Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 17.0 for Windows . Based on calculations using the WMS general trend ( Weighted Mean Scored ), indicates that the variable X ( competence development of teachers by principals ) to obtain an average score of 4.29, with a very good category and for the variable Y ( teacher performance ) to obtain mean value average of 4.44 is included in the excellent category . Data analysis in research using non -parametric statistics because the data normality test results show the variables X and Y are not normally distributed , and the subsequent calculation of correlation analysis using the formula Spearmen Rho 0.699 obtained figures which show that the variable X ( competence development of teachers by principals ) and variable Y ( teacher performance ) has a strong relationship with a coefficient of determination of 48.86 % while the remaining 51.14 % is influenced by other factors . Then the significance of test results obtained 8.409 ≥ 1.671 . This suggests a positive and significant effect between coaching competence of teachers by principals with teacher performance in elementary school at Sukasari Bandung District . Overall it can be concluded that the development of competence of teachers by principals and teachers in elementary school performance at Sukasari Bandung District are in very good category . The coaching relationship competency level of teachers by principals strong influence on the performance of teachers . On the results of this study indicate that the coaching competence of teachers by principals not only the only one that affects the performance of teachers , but there are some other variables beyond the variables in the scope of this study but the same study , among other things: atmosphere/work environment, facilities and infrastructure, social security and so forth .
