Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh modal kerja terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan yang terdaftar pada LQ45 periode 2013-2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode asosiatif kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar pada LQ45 periode 2013-2015. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Dari metode tersebut diperoleh 34 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria untuk digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Dalam menganalisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi dan jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi hasilnya negatif sebesar -0,127, secara parsial melalui pengujian koefisien determinasi bahwa pengaruh modal kerja terhadap profitabilitas sebesar 1,61% sedangkan 98,39% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain sedangkan pengujian berdasarkan uji t nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,2804 dan t-hitung sebesar 1,9839 maka modal kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. ;---The aim of this study is to find out the impact of working capital towards profitability on companies which are registered on LQ45 in period of 2013-2015. The research methodology which is used in this study is causal-associative with quantitative approach. The population in this study is the LQ45 registered companies in 2013-2015. The data collection in this study used purposive sampling. By this methodology, 34 companies with criteria are gained as the research samples. In analyzing the data, this study used correlation and the type of data used is secondary data. Based on the calculation of correlation, the result is negative in-0.127, which is stated partially by using determination coefficient testing that the impact of working capital towards profitability is 1.61 percent while the 98.39 percent is influenced by another factors; meanwhile based on t testing, the t-table score is 1.2804 and the t-score is 1.9839 and this working capital is not influential towards profitability.
