Abstract
Anak usia dini berada telah dapat mengungkapkan keinginananya, penolakannya, maupun pendapatnya dengan menggunakan bahasa lisan. Bahasa lisan sudah dapat digunakan anak sebagai alat berkomunikasi. Dalam perkembangan bahasa, jika aktivitas imitasi pada anak awas diperoleh dengan imitasi visual, maka pada anak tunanetra harus dirangsang melalui stimuli pendengaran, di samping sisa indera pengelihatan bagi anak Low Vision, serta indera-indera lainnya. Selain itu, karena kurangnya stimuli visual, perkembangan bahasa anak tunanetra juga tertinggal dibanding anak awas. Kurangnya kemampuan subjek dalam bahasa ekspresif, terutama dalam mengucapkan kata yang mengandung huru M, N G dan R. Dilatarbelakangi oleh hal tersebut, maka peneliti memiliki gagasan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbahasa ekspresifnya tersebut melalui terapi musik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh terapi musik pada anak tunanetra usia dini di pusat pelayanan terpadu low vision (low vision center) Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan subjek tunggal atau single subject research (SSR). Desain yang digunakan yaitu desain A-B-A yang terdiri dari tiga kondisi yaitu kondisi baseline (A-1), Intervensi (B) dan baseline 2 (A-2). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupalirik yang mengandung huruf konsonan yang sulit diucapkan oleh anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data keseluruhan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa melalui terapi musik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif anak tunanetra usia dini. Peningkatan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkata mean level pada kondisi baseline-1 (A-1) yaitu 0%, kondisi intervensi (B) yaitu 13,54% dan yang terakhir kondisi baseline-2 (A-2) yaitu 12,5%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat terlihat subjek (A) mengalami peningkatan yang cukup baik dalam penelitian ini meski tidak optimal. In addition, due to lack of visual stimuli, language development of blind children also lagged compared with sighted children. The subject on this research is having lack of ability in expressive language, especially in pronouncing words that contain the letter M, N G and R. . Based on the background, the researcher had the idea to develop expressive language skills through music therapy. This study aims to determine how the effects of music therapy at an blind children on early age at the low vision center Bandung. This study uses research methods with a single subject or known as SSR (Single Subject Research). Design used is design of A-B-A that consists of three phases: 1st baseline (A1), intervention (B) and 2nd baseline (A2) condition. The instruments that used in the form of lyrics that contain consonants which hard spoken by the subject (A) . The result of this research showed the average value of the subject's expressive language ability at 1st baseline (A1) is equal to 0%, and increased in the intervention phase (B) is equal to 13,54% and the last condition of baseline-2 (A-2) is 12, 5%.. Based on the data analysis and discussion that has been carried out, so that give an information that Music Teraphy affect on the ability to expressive language in the subject.
