Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi banyaknya struktur pragmatis kalimat tanya yang terdapat pada sebuah novel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur pragmatis kalimat tanya pada sebuah novel. Seluruh kalimat tanya dalam novel tersebut dijadikan sumber data. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, sedangkan teknik yang digunakan yaitu teknik tinjauan pustaka. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa kartu data. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan 5 pola adegan pragmatis kalimat tanya, yaitu (1) pola I jumlahnya 82 (31%), (2) pola II jumlahnya 39 (14,7%), (3) pola III jumlahnya 34 (12,8%), (4) pola IV jumlahnya 19 (7,2%), dan (5) pola V jumlahnya 91 (34,3%). Ada 12 makna pragmatis kalimat tanya, yakni (1) makna keadaan ada 39 kalimat (14,7%), (2) makna waktu ada 3 kalimat (1,2%), (3) makna penegas ada 38 kalimat (14,4%), (4) makna tempat ada 8 kalimat (3%), (5) makna rasa ada 26 kalimat (9,8%), (6) makna tindakan ada 30 kalimat (11,3%), (7) makna sebab ada 56 kalimat (21,1%), (8) makna cara ada 9 kalimat (3,4%), (9) makna asal ada 4 kalimat (1,5%), (10) makna golongan ada 31 kalimat (11,7%), (11) makna perbandingan ada 3 kalimat (1,1%), dan (12) makna penilaian ada 18 kalimat (6,8%). Konteks pragmatis kalimat tanya terbagi dalam 7 bagian, yaitu (1) undak- usuk bahasa Sunda terbagi menjadi 4 bagian, (2) pemakai bahasa terbagi menjadi 2 bagian, (3) Alur percakapan terbagi menjadi 2 bagian, (4) latar belakang terbagi menjadi 2 bagian, (5) alat yang digunakan terbagi menjadi 4 bagian, (6) rasa dan gaya bahasa terbagi menjadi 2 bagian, dan (7) amanat terbagi menjadi 7 bagian. Hasil dari analisis konteks yaitu adanya tata krama berbahasa, yang memakai bahasa menurut umur dan jenis kelamin, adanya jawaban dari pertanyaan, latar belakang tempat dan waktu dalam berbicara, alat yang digunakan dalam berbicara, rasa dan ragam bahasa, dan amanat berbicara. This research is background by many pragmatic structure interrogative sentence contained in a novel. This research aims to describe the pragmatic structure interrogative sentence in a novel. The entire interrogative sentence in the novel as source data. The method used in this research is descriptive, while the tehniques used are engineering review of the literature. The instrument used was a data card. The results of the research can be concluded 5 scenes pragmatic interrogative sentense patterns, namely (1) the pattern I amount 82 (31%), (2) pattern II amount 39 (14.7%), (3) pattern III amount 34 (12.8%), (4) pattern IV amount 19 (7.2%), and (5) pattern V amount 91 (34.3%). There are 12 pragmatic meaning of interrogative sentence, namely (1) the meaning of state there are 39 sentences (14.7%), (2) the meaning of time there are 3 sentences (1.2%), (3) the meaning of affirming there are 38 sentences (14.4%), (4) the meaning of where there are 8 sentences (8.3%), (5) the meaning of sense there are 26 sentence (9.8%), (6) the meaning of action there are 30 sentences (11.3%), (7) the meaning of because there are 56 sentences (21.1%), (8) the meaning of means there are 9 sentences (3.4%), (9) the meaning of origin there are 4 sentences (1.5%), (10) the meaning of classes there are 31 sentences (11.7%), (11) the meaning of comparison there are 3 sentences (1.1%), and (12) the meaning of assessment there are 18 sentences (6.8%). Pragmatic context of the interrogaive sentence is divided into 7 section, namely (1) undak usuk Sundanese divided into 4 sections, (2) the language user is divided into 2 parts, (3) the flow of the conversation is divided into 2 parts, (4) the background is divided into 2 parts, (5) a tool used is divided into 4 parts, (6) the taste and style of language is divided into 2 parts, and (7) the message is divided into 7 parts. Result of the context analysist that is the language of manners, the language used by age and sex, the answer to the question, the background of the place and time of the speech, a tool used in speech, taste and variety of language, and the speak mandate.
