Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyusunan dan penerapan asesmen alternatif dalam mengungkap kesulitan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran sistem ekskresi manusia di SMA PGII 1 Bandung. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Subjek yang dilibatkan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai subjek pada tahap uji coba, dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai subjek pada tahap penerapan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan learning log class, rubrik penilaian, catatan penting lapangan, tes pemahaman konsep, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan merekapitulasi hasil respon siswa dalam learning log class yang terkait indikator-indikator yang dicapai dan yang belum dicapai siswa pada pembelajaran sistem ekskresi manusia, serta penelahaan kesulitan belajar siswa yang terungkap melalui hasil analisis pada learning log class. Setelah itu data divalidasi melalui wawancara dengan uji cuplik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan learning log class dapat mendiagnostik kesulitan belajar siswa. Kelebihan learning log class adalah dapat mengungkap kesulitan belajar siswa dan latar belakang kesulitannya, dapat mengukur konsep atau sub konsep yang dianggap sulit bagi siswa, sebagai feedback terhadap kemampuan siswa, melibatkan siswa dalam proses asesmen. Guru memberi tanggapan yang positif tentang penerapan learning log class karena mudah dilaksanakan dan dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar. Siswa pun merasa terbantu dengan adanya learning log class karena dapat menjadi sumber refleksi diri. Kata kunci : kesulitan belajar, asesmen alternatif, learning log class, sistem ekskresi manusia. This study aims to describe the development and application of alternative assessment in exposing students learning difficulties in learning the human excretory system in SMA PGII 1 Bandung. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Subjects were included in this study were students of class XI IPA 2 as a subject in the pilot phase, and class XI IPA 3 as a subject at the application stage. Data collection was performed using the learning log class, assessment rubrics, important field notes, test understanding of concepts, and interviews. Data analysis was performed with the results recapitulate the responses of students in a learning log class related indicators have not been achieved and the learning achieved by students in the human excretory system, as well as the review of students learning difficulties are revealed through the analysis of the learning log class. The data is validated through interviews with pick out a sampling test. The results showed learning log class can diagnostick students learning difficulties. Excess class is learning logs can uncover students learning difficulties and difficulty background, can measure the concept or sub-concepts that are considered difficult for students, as feedback on students skills, involving students in the assessment process. Teachers gave positive feedback about the application of learning log class and student also helped with the learning log class can be a source of self-reflection.
