Abstract
penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Pasundan 4 Bandung dengan menggunakan model Kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Square. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil dari proses pembelajaran berbicara dengan tipe Think-Pair-Square. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari tiap siklus pembelajaran. Peningkatannya dilihat pada hasil evaluasi siswa dari siklus I dan siklus II dengan membandingkan dari nilai sebelum menerapkan teknik (pra-siklus) ke siklus I, dan terakhir siklus II. KATA KUNCI : keterampilan berbicara, model kooperatif, teknik think-pair-square, penelitian tindakan kelas, menyampaikan pendapat, diskusi. This research is intended to improve students' speaking skills class VIII - A 4 Pasundan SMP Bandung by using the model of the type Cooperative Think - Pair - Square . This study aimed to describe the planning , execution , and results of the process of learning to speak with the type of Think - Pair - Square . The research method used was Classroom Action Research . The results showed an increase of each learning cycle . Increase is seen in the results of student evaluations of the first cycle and second cycle by comparing the value before applying the technique ( pre - cycle ) to the first cycle , and the last cycle II .
