Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan temuan peneliti yang menunjukan rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam penguasaan ilmu Nahwu terutama bagi siswa yang sama sekali belum mengenal dasar bahasa Arab. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memudahkan siswa menguasai ilmu Nahwu baik itu bagi siswa yang sudah mengenal bahasa Arab sebelumnya maupun yang sama sekali belum mengenal bahasa Arab. Oleh karena itu peneliti menggunakan metode pembelajaran Jigsaw. Metode yang menjadi bagian dari cooperative learning ini memungkinkan siswa untuk saling bekerja sama dalam memahami bahasa Arab antara siswa yang sudah pernah belajar bahasa Arab dan belum mengenal bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi experimental, dengan menerapkan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design, yakni menggunakan dua kelas yang telah ada sebagai sampel kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Langkah awal yang dilakukan yakni pemberian pretest untuk mengetahui keadaan awal di kedua kelas tersebut, kemudian pemberian treatment pada kelas eksperimen dan terakhir pelaksanaan posttest untuk mengetahui keadaan akhir kedua kelas tersebut setelah memperoleh materi sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, nilai rata-rata pretest keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Arab siswa di kelas eksperimen sebesar 52.27 sedangkan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol adalah sebesar 52.13. Kemudian setelah proses pembelajaran selesai dilaksanakan, diberikan posttest kepada kelas eksperimen yang telah menggunakan metode Jigsaw dan kepada kelas kontrol yang tanpa menggunakan metode Jigsaw dalam pembelajarannya. Hasilnya, rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 85.93 dan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 69.80. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan dengan menggunakan SPSS 17.0 for Windows, diketahui nilai thitung sebesar 3.082 dengan tingkat Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,008 dengan df = N-1 = 15 - 1= 14, sehingga nilai ttabel = 1,761 pada taraf signifikansi [α = 0,05]. Maka, karena thitung ≥ ttabel atau 3.082 ≥ 1,761, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, jadi penguasaan ilmu nahwu siswa kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode Jigsaw lebih baik dari pada prestasi belajar siswa kelas kontrol. Selanjutnya dari pengolahan data gain ternormalisasi <g> diketahui rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode Jigsaw adalah sebesar 0,74 dan tergolong dalam kategori “tinggi”, sedangkan kelas kontrol gain ternormalisasi <g> nilainya sebesar 0,33 dalam kategori “sedang”. This research is motivated by the findings of researchers who showed low ability students in the mastery of science Nahwu especially for students who did not know basic Arabic . The purpose of this study is to facilitate the students to master the science of Nahwu good for students who are familiar with the Arabic language before or who have not know Arabic. Therefore, researchers using Jigsaw learning methods . Methods that are part of the cooperative learning allows students to work together in understanding the Arabic language among students who had been studying Arabic and do not know Arabic . The method used in this study is a quasi experimental method, by applying the research design of non - equivalent control group design, which uses two classes that already exist in the sample experimental class and the control class. The initial steps the administration pretest to see how early in the second class, then the provision of treatment in the experimental class and the final implementation of the posttest to determine the final state of the second class after obtaining the material in accordance with the steps that have been determined. Based on the data obtained , the average pretest reading comprehension skills of students in the Arabic text of the experimental class was 52.27 , while the average value of the control class is at 52.13. Then after the learning process has been completed , given the posttest to the experimental class who have used the method to Jigsaw and control classes without using the Jigsaw method of learning. As a result, the average grade of the experiment is 85.93 and the average control class is 69.80. Based on the hypothesis test using SPSS 17.0 for Windows, known tcount 3082 with Sig level. ( 2 - tailed ) = 0.008 with df = N - 1 = 15-1 = 14, so the value in the table = 1.761 level of significance [ α = 0.05 ]. So , because of t ≥ 3.082 ≥ 1.761 ttabel or , then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected , so mastery of grade nahwu experiments using the Jigsaw method is better than the control class student achievemen. Further processing of the data is known <g> normalized gain on average for class experiments using the Jigsaw method is by 0.74 and classified in the category of "high" , while the control class <g> normalized gain value of 0.33 in the category of " moderate" .
