Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara terhadap Disiplin kerja Guru di SMK Swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara”. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini mengenai disiplin kerja guru di SMK Swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara. Hal ini diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan salah satu guru dan kepala sekolah di SMK swasta di Kecamatan Cimahi Utara, dimana di SMK tersebut masih ada saja guru yang datang terlambat, masih adanya guru yang terlambat dalam menyelesaikan tugas, masih ada guru yang tidak menaati peraturan yang sudah ditetapkan. Salah satu guru di SMK PGRI 2 Kota Cimahi pun mengutarakan bahwa, guru tidak masuk jam mengajar karena ada urusan/aktivitas lain yang berkaitan dengan organisasi dan malas masuk kelas pada saat jam mengajarnya, masih ada guru (25% guru) yang merealisasikan RPP masih jauh dengan RPP yang sudah dibuat. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara terhadap disiplin kerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan angket/kuisioner tertutup yang disebarkan kepada 74 guru di SMK Swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara. Hasil pengolahan WMS (Weight Mean Score) menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan umum skor responden Gaya kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara di SMK swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Sedangkan untuk Disiplin Kerja Guru di SMK swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara setelah diteliti dengan perhitungan statistik termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil uji normalitas diketahui bahwa kedua variabel berdistribusi normal, dengan demikian pengujian hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja guru di SMK swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara dipengaruhi cukup kuat oleh Gaya Kepemimpinan Ki Hajar. Hasil perhitungan signifikansi, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara dengan disiplin kerja Guru. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima, yang artinya “Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari Gaya Kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Guru di SMK Swasta Se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara”. Adapun implikasi jika gaya kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara rendah pada kedisiplinan guru dalam bekerja yaitu pelanggaran terhadap disiplin, pengerjaan tugas dan pekerjaan yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan yang sudah ditetapkan dan tidak tepat waktu, tugas dan pekerjaannya guru dikerjakan dengan tidak baik dan tidak maksimal, dan kinerja sekolah yang rendah. Sedangkan jika disiplin kerja guru rendah dan guru tidak mau menerima konsekuensinya berimplikasi pada pada diri guru tersebut dan sekolah. Guru tersebut akan dikucilkan dengan guru lainnya, akan dikenakan tambahan hukuman yang lain, dan dalam dirinya pun akan timbul rasa bersalah. Sedangkan bagi sekolah, akan berimplikasi dalam menjalankan program-program sekolah, dan menghambat dalam mewujudkan visi sekolah. Untuk mencegah hal ini kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan, pengetahuan&keterampilan serta pendidikannya dengan mengikuti seminar atau workshop kepemimpinan dan mengikuti pendidikan lebih tinggi lagi untuk dapat lebih menunjang pekerjaannya. Guru dapat meningkatkan disiplin kerjanya melalui self awarness dengan mengikuti pembinaan spritual agar lebih sadar akan tanggungjawabnya terhadap tugas dan pekerjaannya serta konsekuensi yang akan diterimanya ketika peraturan telah dilanggarnya.--------- This study entitled “Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Ki Hajar Dewantara terhadap Disiplin kerja Guru di SMK Swasta se-Kecamatan Cimahi Utara”. The issue of this study was relating to teachers’ working discipline in all Private Vocational School of North Cimahi Sub-District. This issue was chosen as the follow-up of interview with teachers and headmasters in private vocational school of North Cimahi Sub-District. It is said that there were some teachers who disobeyed the rules such as coming late to school, skipping the routine ceremony, and late to submit their works. One of the teachers in SMK 2 Cimahi stated that moreover, there were teachers who absent from class and did not do their obligation to teach their students. Also, about 25% of teachers did not practice their RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) or Lesson plans that have been made. Generally, this study aimed to overview the effect of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s leadership style to teachers’ working discipline. This study was using descriptive method and quantitative approach. While the data was collected by using closed questionnaire and distributed to 74 teachers in all private vocational school of North Cimahi Sub-district. The result of WMS (Weight Mean Score) indicated that generally the respondents score of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s Discipline style is in excellent category. Then, as calculated statistically, the teachers’ working discipline in private vocational school of North Cimahi sub-district is in very good category. The normality test resulted that both of variable X and variable Y were distributed normally, which caused the using of parametric statistic to tested the hypothesis. Based on the calculation of coefficient correlation between the two variables, it is showed that teachers’ working discipline was strongly affected by the Ki Hajar Dewantara leadership style. The result of significance calculation showed there were significant and positive influences between the leadership style of Ki Hajar Dewantara and teachers’ working discipline. It resulted to the accepted hypothesis that ‘there were significant and positive influences from Ki Hajar Dewantara’s leadership style towards The teachers’ working discipline in all private vocational school of North Cimahi Sub-district. There were implications of leadership style of Ki Hajar Dewantara to teachers’ working disciple, which were discipline violation, unorganized works and tasks, non-optimal efforts to work, and poorly school performance. While the teachers’ working discipline was low and they did not want to accept the consequences, it implied to their own and also the school. The teacher would be shunned by other teachers, given punishment, and had a guilty feeling for them. Moreover, the school would also have the effect such as hampered to realizing the school visions. To prevent this issue, the headmasters could improve their knowledge; study and skills through join in seminars or workshops, and enroll to the higher education to support their jobs. The teachers could improve their working discipline through self-awareness by join spiritual development to be aware more about their own obligation, include their works and jobs also their consequences caused by their negligence due to their past behavior.
