Abstract
Penelitian yang berjudul “Pembelajaran Berbasis Praktikum Untuk Meningkatkan Sikap Ilmiah Dan Penguasaan Konsep Sistem Ekskresi” telah dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Lembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis praktikum terhadap peningkatan sikap ilmiah dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi, serta tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis praktikum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy experiment. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI MIA-1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI MIA-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah skala sikap dan soal penguasaan konsep. Hasil tes penguasaan konsep dan skala sikap dianalisis secara kuantitatif yaitu dari rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest baik kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Instrumen lain yang mendukung adalah lembar observasi kinerja dan angket yang dianalisis secara kualitatif yaitu dianalisis perindikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis praktikum memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap ilmiah dan penguasaan konsep siswa. Sikap ilmiah siswa kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,24 sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,31. Penguasaan konsep siswa kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-gain sebesar 0,20 dan pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,40. Secara umum pembelajaran berbasis praktikum memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap siswa. Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis praktiku, sikap ilmiah siswa, penguasaan konsep siswa, sistem ekskresi The research tittled “Practicum Based Learning to Improve Scientific attitude and excretion system concept mastery” was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Lembang. This research aimed to analyze the influence of practicum based learning model on the improvement of the students scientific attitude and excretion system concept mastery, and the students response on practicum based learning. The method of the research was quasi experiment. The sample of the research was XI MIA-1 as the controlled class and XI MIA-3 as the experimental class. The instruments used in this research were attitude scale and concept mastery test. The result of attitude scale and concept mastery test which was analyzed quantitatifly was the average of pretest and posttest score in both classes. Other instruments which supported the research were observation worksheet and questionnaire which was analyzed qualitatifly per indicator. The result of the research showed that practicum based learning model gave significant influence on the students scientific attitude and concept mastery. The improvement of the students scientific attitude in controlled class was 0.24 while in experimental class was 0.31. Meanwhile, the improvement of the average of gained score on the students concept mastery in controlled class was 0.20 and in experimental class was 0.40. therefore, it can be concluded that practicum based learning gave positive influence on the students.
