Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya program home visit di Taman Kanak-kanak, karena hubungan dan komunikasi yang dijalin antara orangtua dan lembaga TK akan berdampak pada pengembangan mutu sekolah dan perkembangan peserta didik. Pendekatan yang lebih intens bisa dilakukan oleh guru ketika program home visit, sehingga rasa saling percaya dapat timbul dengan sendirinya. Dilakukan penelitian dengan mengacu pada permasalahan “bagaimana implementasi program home visit di Taman Kanak-kanak?”. Dari berbagai observasi lapangan, peneliti menemukan TK yang tepat yang akan dijadikan tempat penelitian yaitu TK Negeri Pembina Citarip. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan : pertama, perencanaan program home visit di TK Negeri Pembina Citarip sudah tersusun dengan baik. Kedua, pelaksanaan program home visit sudah berjalan dengan baik. Hal itu ditandai dengan terealisasinya semua perencanaan jadwal yang tidak terlepas dari berbagai kendala yang ditemui selama di lapangan. Ketiga, pelaksanaan evaluasi sudah terlaksana dengan baik, akan tetapi masih terdapat kelemahan yaitu belum tersusun dan belum terdokumentasi dengan baik untuk evaluasi program. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, rekomendasi penulis: pertama, untuk lembaga TK: program home visit, sebaiknya dilaksanakan secara kontinyu dan teratur serta dipertahankan. Kedua, untuk guru kiranya untuk secara terus menerus meningkatkan kemampuan dan pengetahuan mengenai program home visit. Kata kunci: Program Home Visit, Taman Kanak-kanak. This research are motivated by the importance of home visit programs in kindergarten, because of the relationship and communication established between parents and kindergarten institutions will have an impact on the development of the quality of schools and the development of learners. The approach can be made more intense by the teacher when the home visit program, so that mutual trust can arise by itself. Conducted research with reference to the problem of "how the implementation of home visit programs in kindergarten?" From field observations, researchers found the right kindergarten will be a place of research in TK Negeri Pembina Citarip. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive study method. Data was collected through observation, documentation studies and interviews. The results show: first, planning home visit program in TK Negeri Pembina Citarip is in good order. Second, the implementation of the home visit program has been going well. It was marked by the realization that not all of the planning schedule regardless of the various obstacles encountered while in the field. Third, the evaluation has been done well, but there are still weaknesses that have not been arranged and not well documented for evaluation. Based on the results of the study, the authors recommendations: first, to institute kindergarten: home visit program, should be carried out continuously and regularly and maintained. Second, for the teacher is necessary to continuously improve the ability and knowledge of the home visit program. Keywords: Home Visit Program, kindergarten.
