Abstract

Hakikat penelitian ini membahas tentang peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis melalui penerapan model LAPS-Heuristik yang dilakukan melalui metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol tidak ekuivalen terhadap siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri di Bandung. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang pembelajarannya melalui LAPS-Heuristik dibandingkan siswa yang pembelajarannya melalui Pembelajaran Langsung serta mengetahui peningkatan aspek berpikir kreatif matematis (fluensi, fleksibilitas, dan orisinalitas) pada model LAPS-Heuristik dan respon siswa terhadap model tersebut. Dari hasil uji statistik pretes, postes, dan indeks gain serta mempertimbangkan data non-tes (angket dan observasi) disimpulkan adanya peningkatan berpikir kreatif siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristik. Perbedaan peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok atas dan bawah. Peningkatan aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis relatif sama dan perbedaan rata-rata terdapat pada aspek fleksibilitas dan orisinalitas. Respon sebagian besar siswa terhadap model LAPS-Heuristik adalah positif. Rekomendasinya adalah perlu diteliti terkait kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang tidak meningkat dan peningkatan aspek lainnya pada setiap kelompok. Kata Kunci: Model LAPS-Heuristik, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis This paper discusses the enhancement of students mathematical creative thinking ability through LAPS-Heuristic model implementation that was conducted in one of State Junior High Schools in Bandung at 7th grade using quasi-experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. The purposes of this study are comparing the enhancement between students mathematical creative thinking ability who obtained LAPS-Heuristic and who obtained direct learning (conventional), knowing the enhancement of students mathematical creative thinking aspects (fluency, flexibility, and originality) who obtained LAPS-Heuristic model, and knowing students attitude toward LAPS-Heuristic model. The result of t-test and observation as well as questionnaire sheets showed that there is the enhancement of students mathematical creative thinking ability who obtained LAPS-Heuristic model – especially for the upper-level students. Means of the enhancement of mathematical creative thinking aspects are relative similar to each other. Generally, the students attitude toward LAPS-Heuristic model are positive. The recommendation are need have more research about who wasn’t enhance of students mathematical creative thinking ability and the other enhancement of students mathematical creative thinking aspects.
