Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi siswa atau aktivitas belajar siswa di dalam proses pembelajaran IPA kelas V SD Negeri 2 Suntenjaya. Proses pembelajaran yang biasa dilaksanakan menggunakan model ceramah yaitu penyampaian materi secara utuh kepada siswa dan diselingi dengan latihan-latihan soal, pembelajaran seperti ini menyebabkan siswa cenderung pasif dan pembelajaran kurang berarti bagi siswa. Siswa kurang memperoleh pengalaman langsung, dan guru kurang memberikan kesempatan serta kepercayaan terhadap diri siswa untuk aktif dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini juga berdampak pada rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini peneliti melakukan upaya perbaikan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran cooperative tipe two stay two stray (TSTS). Model pembelajaran tersebut melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam kegiatan belajar. Pakok pikiran pembelajaran cooperative tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) adalah memberi kesempatan kepada kelompok untuk membagikan hasil dan informasi kepada kelompok lain Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA materi daur air dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Cooperative tipe two stay two stray. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan model dan desain spiral Kemiss dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang dilaksanakan pada periode bulan April dan Mei. Setiap siklusnya terdiri 4 tahapan yaitu mulai dari tahap perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan, pengamatan (observing) dan refleksi (reflecting). instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah lembar aktivitas belajar siswa, field note (catatan lapangan) dan dokumentasi berupa foto-foto selama proses pembelajaran. hasil menunjukan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model two stay two stray yaitu Aktivitas berbicara, aktivitas menulis dan aktivitas motorik meningkat dari siklus I dengan rata-rata 81,67 dan siklus ke II yaitu 85,00 kesimpulan akhir dari penelitian ini bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa This research is motivated by the low participation of student learning activities in the process of learning science class V SD Negeri 2 Suntenjaya. The learning process is commonly carried out using a model of discourse, namely the delivery of content to students and the whole interspersed with exercises, as this causes learning students tend to be passive and less meaningful learning for students. Students gain experience less direct, and less teacher provides opportunities as well as self-confidence in the students to be active in learning. It also adversely affects the student's learning activities. Based on these problems researchers to make improvements by implementing cooperative learning type two stay two stray (TSTS). The learning model that involves students actively in the learning activities. Pakok mind the type of cooperative learning two stay two stray (TSTS) is offered an opportunity for the group to share results and information to other groups in the main objective of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning activities in the water cycle science learning materials by applying two types of learning models Cooperative stay two stray. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which uses the model and the spiral design Kemiss and Mc Taggart. This study was conducted in two cycles were carried out in the period of April and May. Each cycle consists of four stages, ie from the planning stage (planning), implementation, observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting). data collection instrument in this study was students' learning activity sheets, field notes (field notes) and documentation in the form of photographs during the learning process. results showed an increase in students' learning activities using a model that is two stay two stray Activity speaking, writing activities and increased motor activity of the first cycle with an average of 81.67 and 85.00 the second cycle to the final conclusion of this study that the application of the learning model cooperative type two stay two stray can improve student learning activities
