Abstract

Dalam permainan sepak bola tidak jarang hasil akhir pertandingan ditentukan dari titik penalti. Dalam melakukan tendangan penalti pemain dituntut berfikir secara cepat dan tepat, kemudian dapat dilakukan dengan gerakan yang cepat pula untuk menentukan kearah mana bola akan ditendang. Hal tersebut tentu memerlukan kombinasi dari kemampuan kognitif dan kemampuan gerak sehingga menghasilkan tendangan yang baik dan menghasilkan gol. Kecerdasan intelektual mengambil pengaruh besar saat proses berfikir dan kemampuan bertindak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara kecerdasan intelektual (IQ) dengan keberhasilan tendangan penalti pada permainan sepak bola. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik korelasional. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel pada mahasiswa Ilmu Keolahragaan angkatan 2013 sebanyak 30, instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes inteligensi dan tes tendangan penalti. Perhitungan statistik menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji korelasi kedua variable yaitu 0,325 dengan nilai probabilitas 0,080 yang berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan intelektual (IQ) dengn keberhasilan tendangan penalti pada permainan sepak bola. Hasil dari uji regresi ialah 0,105 yang berarti bahwa kecerdasan intelektual hanya berpengaruh 10,5% terhadap keberhasilan tendangan penalti pada permainan sepak bola.

In the game of football is not uncommon outcome determined end of the game from the penalty spot. In the penalty kick players are required to think quickly and accurately, and can be done with a quick motion anyway to determine which direction the ball will be kicked. It certainly requires a combination of cognitive abilities and motor skills to produce a good kick and produce a goal. Intellectual took great influence during the process of thinking and the ability to act. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between intellectual intelligence (IQ) with the successful penalty kick in a football game. The method used is descriptive quantitative by using correlational techniques. Data collection techniques used are simple random sampling with a sample of the student Sport Science force in 2013 as many as 30, the instrument used is the intelligence tests and tests penalty. Statistical calculations using SPSS. The results show the value of the variable correlation is 0.325 with a probability value of 0.080 which means that there is a significant correlation between intelligence quotient (IQ) with less successful penalty kick in a football game. Results of regression test is 0.105, which means that the intelligence affects only 10.5% of the successful penalty kick at a football game.
