Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian otentik yang dapat mengukur keterampilan proses sains pada pembelajaran reaksi eksoterm dan reaksi endoterm. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research dan Development (R&D), terdiri dari tahap pengembangan, validasi dan uji coba instrumen. Instrumen yang dikembangkan adalah instrumen penilaian kinerja dan instrumen penilaian uraian terbatas. Instrumen diuji cobakan kepada 38 orang siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA Negeri kota Bandung. Pada tahap uji coba digunakan teknik interrater correlation dengan lima orang rater yang menilai kinerja lima responden secara terpisah. Hasil validasi instrumen melalui lima orang validator menunjukkan bahwa semua instrumen yang dikembangkan valid. Dari hasil uji coba instrumen diperoleh data reliabilitas instrumen dengan kategori sedang dan sangat tinggi. Selain itu diperoleh juga data validasi empiris ketiga butir soal pada instrumen penilaian uraian sebesar 0,71; 0,99 dan 0,94, sedangkan untuk instrumen penilaian kinerja adalah 0,89. Hasil penilaian keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains responden berada pada kategori baik. The purpose of this research is to develop an authentic assessment instruments to measure science process skills especially for exothermic and endothermic reactions learning. The method of research and development was applied with three steps, namely developing, validating and testing instruments. The instrument which was developed consists of performance assessment instrument and written assessment (limited description) instrument. Those instruments were tested to 38 second grades students of senior high school in Bandung. In testing instrument steps, technique interrater correlation was used with five raters who judge the performance of five respondents. The result of instruments validating by five experts shown that the instruments was valid. Reliability of those assessment instruments are in “enough” category and “very high” category. In addition, the results of empirical validity of three written items are 0.71, 0.99 and 0.94 while the results of performance’s empirical validity is 0,89. And the results of science process skills that measured by authentic assessment instruments which have been developed shown that science process skills’s respondent is in “good” category.
