Abstract

Membaca permulaan adalah kemampuan dasar membaca yang memiliki indikator anak mampu memahami huruf, suku kata, kata dan kalimat yang disajikan dalam bentuk tulisan ke dalam bentuk lisan. Keterbatasan dalam intelektual membuat anak kesulitan belajar mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca permulaan dikarenakan metode yang digunakan saat ini tidak berdasarkan prinsip pembelajaran anak kesulitan belajar Sehingga dibutuhkan suatu metode yang diharapkan anak dapat memahami tulisan-tulisan yang dapat memberikan informasi sederhana dilingkungannya. Berdasarkan pada permasalahan penelitian tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui 1) kondisi objektif kemampuan membaca anak kesulitan Belajar sebelum diberikan perlakuan; 2) tersusunnya Program Pembelajaran Individual Berbasis VAKT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak Kesulitan Belajar; 3) melihat efektivitas Program Pembelajaran Individual berbasis VAKT terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak Kesulitan Belajar..Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen desain SSR. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak Kesulitan Belajar kelas III (Tiga ) di SDN 263 Rancaloa yang berjumlah 1 Siswa dan di SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul yang berjumlah 1 orang.. Adapun data yang diperoleh merupakan hasil tes dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode kalimat kontekstual dan fungsional efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak Kesulitan Belajar. Sehingga direkomendasikan kepada guru sebagai alternatif pembelajaran membaca permulaan bagi anak Kesulitan Belajar. Pre reading skill is a basic reading skill that has indicators that children are able to understand letters, syllables, words and sentences presented in written form into oral form. Intellectual limitations make children with learning difficulties experience difficulties in initial reading because the methods currently used are not based on learning principles for children with learning difficulties. So a method is needed that hopefully children can understand writing that can provide simple information in their environment. Based on the research problems, the aims of this research were to determine 1) the objective condition of the reading ability of children with learning difficulties before being given treatment; 2) the preparation of a VAKT-based Individual Learning Program to improve the initial reading abilities of children with Learning Difficulties; 3) look at the effectiveness of the VAKT-based Individual Learning Program in improving the early reading abilities of children with Learning Difficulties. This research uses a quantitative approach with the SSR design experimental method. The subjects in this research were third grade students with Learning Difficulties at SDN 263 Rancaloa, and SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul The data obtained were the results of tests with the analysis technique used in this research, namely analysis. percentage descriptive statistics. The results of the research show that the application of contextual and functional sentence methods is effective in improving the beginning reading abilities of children with Learning Difficulties. So it is recommended to teachers as an alternative for pre reading skills learning for children with learning difficulties.
