Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru masih dianggap kurang efektif karena siswa cenderung pasif dan kurang berani berpartisipasi, terlihat dari kurangnya respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan model pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga tidak hanya menjadi aktif dan bermakna, tetapi juga dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy dan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam mengonstruksi pengetahuan mereka sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran window shopping terhadap peningkatan self-efficacy dan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi. Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalen control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 72 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan observasi. Analisis data diolah secara statistik inferensial menggunakan independent sample t-test, korelasi pearson dan manova yang sebelumnya diuji prasyarat yaitu normalitas, linearitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran window shopping terhadap peningkatan self-efficacy; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran window shopping terhadap peningkatan keaktifan belajar; (3) terdapat hubungan positif antara tingkat self-efficacy dengan keaktifan belajar; dan (4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran window shopping terhadap peningkatan self-efficacy dan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi di SMA Negeri 2 Lembang, Bandung Barat. This research was motivated by the low level of student involvement in Sociology learning. The learning model used by teachers is still considered less effective because students tend to be passive and lack the courage to participate, as can be seen from the lack of student response to learning. Therefore, a learning model is needed that is oriented towards student involvement in the learning process so that it not only becomes active and meaningful, but can also increase students' self-efficacy and active learning in constructing their own knowledge. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of the window shopping learning model on increasing the self-efficacy and active learning of class XI students in the subject of Sociology. This type of research uses a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample for this research was students in class XI IPS 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 3 as the control class, totaling 72 students. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observation. Data analysis was processed inferential statistics using independent sample t-test, Pearson correlation and MANOVA which were previously tested for prerequisites, namely normality, linearity and homogeneity. The results of this research show that: (1) there is a significant influence of using the window shopping learning model on increasing self-efficacy; (2) there is a significant effect of using the window shopping learning model on increasing learning activity; (3) there is a positive relationship between the level of self-efficacy and active learning; and (4) there is a significant effect of using the window shopping learning model on increasing the self-efficacy and learning activeness of class XI students in Sociology subjects at SMA Negeri 2 Lembang, West Bandung.
