Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) tema, (2) fakta cerita, (3) sarana sastra, dan (4) memberi pengetahuan kepada pemabaca dan memberi pemahaman mengenai kepribadian tokoh yang ada dalam novel Layung Ngempur di Kampus Bungur. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan tehnik studi pustaka dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menujukan seperti ini. Tema pada novel Layung Ngempur di Kampus Bungur yaitu cinta. Fakta cerita yang meliputi galur, pelaku, dan latar. Alur yang digunakan pada novél ini yaitu alur campuran. Pelaku yang terdapat pada novel Layung Ngempur di Kampus Bungur yaitu 22 pelaku. Latar pada novél ini dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu latar tempat, latar waktu, dan latar sosial. Terdapat 20 latar tempat yang ada pada cerita ini, sembilan latar waktu, dan latar sosial yang menggambarkan kehidupan taun 1998 massa orde baru. Sarana Sastra, judul novél Layung Ngempur di Kampus Bungur menggambarkan isi ceritanya, sudut pandang pengarangnya pun menggunakan orang pertama, gaya bahasa yang terdapat pada novél ini yaitu peribahasa, sisindiran, hiperbola, dan babasan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis unsur-unsur psikologi humanistiknya, kebutuhan fisiologis dan kebutuhan terhadap rasa aman tercapai oleh pelaku, sedangkan kebutuhan memiliki dan dimiliki (cinta), kebutuhan terhadap harga diri, dan kebutuhan terhadap aktualisasi diri tidak seluruhnya tercapai oleh pelaku. Oleh karena itu, unsur psikologis yang terjadi oleh pelaku belum bisa memenuhi tingkat kebutuhan manusia. Kata Kunci: novel; psikologi humanistik; struktural This research aims to describe (1) the theme, (2) story facts, (3) literary means, and (4) provide knowledge to the reader and provide an understanding of the personality of the characters in Layung Ngempur di Kampus Bungur novel. The method used is descriptive method using literature study techniques and interviews. The results of the research show like this. The theme in the novel Layung Ngempur at Kampus Bungir is love. Story facts which include the plot, actors, and setting. The plot used in this novel is mixed plot. The actors in Layung Ngempur at Kampus Bungur novel are 22 actors. The setting in this novel is divided into three, namely place setting, time setting, and social setting. There are 20 local settings in this story, nine time settings, and a social setting that describes the life of the 1998 New Order masses. Literary means the title of the novel Layung Ngempur at Kampus Bungur describes the contents of the story, the author's point of view also uses the first person, the style of language found in this novel is proverbs, satire, hyperbole, and babasan. Based on the results of the analysis of the elements of humanistic psychology, physiological needs and the need for a sense of security are met by the actor, while the need for belonging and belonging (love), the need for self-esteem, and the need for self-actualization are not all fulfilled by the actor. Therefore, the psychological element that occurs by the perpetrator has not been able to meet the level of human needs. Keywords: humanistic psychology; novel; structural
