Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan Simulator Pembuatan Struktur Lewis Pada Sub Materi Ikatan Kovalen Berbasis Smartphone Pengembangan simulator pembuatan struktur Lewis pada sub materi ikatan kovalen berbasis smartphone, bertujuan untuk menghasilkan simulator yang dapat membantu peserta didik SMA dalam memahami sub materi ikatan kovalen. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Devolepmental Research dengan menerapkan model ADDIE untuk tahap pengembangannya. Pada proses pengembangan simulator, software pendukung yang digunakan adalah Construct 2 dan Microsoft PowerPoint. Responden penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 orang dosen ahli media dan konten, 3 orang pendidik mata pelajaran kimia, dan 7 orang peserta didik SMA Kelas X yang sedang mempelajari sub materi ikatan kovalen. Berdasarkan karakteristik media pada simulator yang diperoleh dari analisis media pendukung, diperoleh bahwa media teks, gambar, animasi, dan simulasi digunakan untuk menjelaskan sub materi ikatan kovalen. Teks disajikan pada petunjuk simulasi dan materi pengantar, gambar disajikan pada materi pengantar, animasi disajikan pada simulasi, serta simulasi disajikan berupa pembuatan struktur Lewis secara bertahap yang terbagi ke dalam 6 level dari tingkat kesulitan paling mudah ke yang paling sulit. Berdasarkan hasil review dosen ahli media dan konten, kelayakan simulator dari segi media maupun dari segi konten mendapatkan hasil dengan kategori sangat layak tetapi dengan beberapa catatan perbaikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas kepada pendidik dan peserta didik, simulator mendapatkan hasil kategori sangat baik tetapi dengan beberapa saran perbaikan. Tanggapan pendidik yaitu simulator yang telah dikembangkan dapat di implementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Tanggapan peserta didik yaitu simulator yang telah dikembangkan dapat membantu dalam memahami sub materi ikatan kovalen. ABSTRACT Development of Lewis Structure Maker On Covalent Bond Sub Topic Simulator Smartphone Based Simulator development making of lewis structure on covalent bond sub topic, have purpose to produce a simulator that can help high school students understanding the covalent bond sub topic. The method has been used in this research is Devolepmental Research with applied ADDIE model for development stage. On development process, the assisting software has been used is Construct 2 and Microsoft PowerPoint. The research respondent included 3 lectures media and content expert, 3 chemistry educators, and 7 high school students 10th grade who`s are studying covalent bond sub topic. Based on characteristics media on simulator obtained from the analysis of supporting media, it was found that text, images, animaton, and simulation media were used for explain covalent bond sub topic. Text has presented on guidance of simulation and material, images has presented on guidance of material, animation has presented on simulation, and also simulation has presented as Lewis structure maker step by step divided in 6 level from esear to harder. Based on review result from lectures media and content expert, the feasibility of simulator in terms of content and media got result in very decent categories but with some notes of improvement. Based on the results of limited test to educators and students, the simulator got results in very good category but with some suggestions for improvement. The educator's response for the simulator that has been developed can be implemented in learning.. Student response for the simulator that has been developed can help in understanding the covalent bond sub material.
