Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi, hal tersebut dibuktikan melaui hasil data pra-penelitian yang sudah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw dan tipe student team achievement division (STAD) terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas X IPS SMAN 4 Cimahi. Kelas X IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen I dengan menggunakan perlakuan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw dan kelas X IPS 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen II dengan menggunakan perlakuan model cooperative learning tipe student team achievement division (STAD). Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes tertulis berbentuk pilihan ganda. Analisis data menggunakan statistik nonparametrik yaitu uji wilcoxon dan uji mann whitney. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas eksperimen I sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) dan sesudah diberi perlakuan (posttest) dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw, terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas eksperimen II sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pretest) dan sesudah diberi perlakuan (posttest) dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe student team achievement division (STAD) dan terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen I dengan menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw dengan kelas eksperimen II menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe student team achievement division (STAD). This study aims to determine and analyze the effectiveness of the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model and the student team achievement division (STAD) type on the understanding of students' concepts in economics subjects. The method used in this study is a non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPS SMAN 4 Cimahi. Class X IPS 2 as the experimental class I using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model treatment and class X IPS 6 as the experimental class II using the student team achievement division (STAD) cooperative learning model treatment. The instrument of this research is a written test in the form of multiple choice. Data analysis used nonparametric statistics, namely Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in understanding of the concepts of students in the experimental class I before being given treatment (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest) using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model, there are differences in understanding the concepts of students in the experimental class II before being given treatment (pretest) and after being given treatment (posttest) using cooperative learning model type student team achievement division (STAD) and there are differences in understanding the concept of experimental class I using the jigsaw cooperative learning model with experimental class II using cooperative learning model type student team achievement division (STAD).
