    Abstract

    Kemajuan teknologi telah mendorong pengintegrasian teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu produk teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran adalah smartphone. Penggunaan smartphone yang masif dikalangan remaja menjadikan peluang untuk dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran. Di satu sisi, ketersediaan media pembelajaran berbasis smartphone, khususnya simulator masih terbatas. Beragam simulator yang tersedia seperti PhET colorado, lab virtul maya kemendikbud, dan labster belum sepenuhnya mencakup beberapa konten simulasi kimia yang ada, salah satunya pada topik struktur dan tata nama senyawa aldehida. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan aplikasi simulator berbasis smartphone pada topik struktur dan tata nama senyawa aldehida, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Developmental Research dan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) sebagai salah satu model pengembangan. Pengembangan aplikasi simulator digunakan dengan bantuan software Construct 2 dan Canva. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan karakteristik media yang dibutuhkan dalam aplikasi simulator adalah teks, gambar, dan simulasi. Kelayakan aplikasi simulator yang dikembangkan baik dari segi konten/materi dan media dinilai layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Simulator yang dikembangkan juga dinilai sangat menarik dan membantu memudahkan peserta didik dalam mempelajari struktur dan tata nama senyawa aldehida.

    Technologycal advances have encouraged the integration of technology in learning. One of the technological product that can be used in learning is a smartphone. The massive use of smartphones among teenagers makes it an opportunity to be used as an alternative learning media. On the other hand, the availability of smartphone-based learning media, especially simulator is still limited. Various web simulators those available are PhEt colorado, virtual lab from kemendikbud, and labster have not yet included some of chemistry simulation topics, one of the topic is the aldehyde’s structure and nomenclature. In this study, a smartphone-based simulator was developed on the topic of the structure and nomenclature of aldehyde compounds, using the Developmental Research method and the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) as one of the development models. The development of simulator was used with the help of software Construct 2 and Canva. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the characteristics of the media needed in the simulator application were text, images, and simulations. The feasibility of the simulator application, both in terms of content/material and media is considered feasible to be used as a learning media. The simulator was also considered very interesting and helped facilitate students in studying the structure and nomenclature of aldehyde compounds.
