Abstract
Fenomena rapuhnya nilai-nilai kerjasama seperti: miskin pengabdian, miskin kepedulian sosial, kurang disiplin, kurang empati terhadap masalah sosial ialah istilah yang erat kaitannya dengan lemahnya prosocial behaviour. Pentingnya kepedulian sosial dan salah satunya ialah kerjasama antara satu dengan lainnya, ditandai dengan kearifan lokal telah menjadi nilai tersendiri dalam konteks pengembangan model pengabdian masyarakat di Perguruan Tinggi. Karena itu, empati dan toleransi menjadi nilai dasar yang perlu terus dikembangkan baik dalam proses maupun output pendidikan. Tatanan ini menghendaki moralitas komunal menjadi core value yang melandasi proses pembudayaan, pembiasaan, pembelajaran, dan peneladanan (internalisasi). Proses in terjadi pada Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa (KKM, istilah yang sama dengan Kuliah Kerja Nyata di Perguruan Tinggi lain) berbasis Participatory Action Research (PAR), model pengabdian masyarakat yang dikembangkan IAIN Syekh Nurjati sejak tahun 2005 hingga sekarang. Dari permasalahan itu, penulis meneliti keadaan, situasi dan pengembangan model internalisasi nilai kerjasama pada KKM berbasis PAR di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Fokus penelitian ini adalah diarahkan pada proses internalisasi nilai kerjasama diantara mahasiswa pada pelaksanaan KKM berbasis PAR di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon berimplikasi pada pembentukan karakter mahasiswa dalam konteks pengabdian masyarakat yang lebih luas. Pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini ialah (1) bagaimana pelaksanaan internalisasi nilai kerjasama pada KKM berbasis PAR di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon?; (2) situasi kerjasama seperti apa dalam internalisasi nilai kerjasama pada KKM berbasis PAR di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon?; dan (3) upaya apa yang dapat dikembangkan dari Pelaksanaan Internalisasi Nilai Kerjasama pada KKM berbasis PAR di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon? Penelitian ini menggunakan Studi Kasus, dengan pendekatan kualitatif serta yang dijadikan latar penelitiannya ialah IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, penentuan latar ini didasarkan atas pertimbangan bahwa sejak tahun ajaran 2006 hingga sekarang, IAIN Syekh Nurjati telah menerapkan KKM berbasis PAR sebagai pilihan pengabdian masyarakat.Temuan-temuan lapangan dianalisis secara kualitatif sesuai dengan konsep, prinsip, karakteristik dan prosedur penelitian kualitatif, penggunaan konsep-konsep dan klasifikasi-klasifikasi subyek penelitian yang tidak hanya melalui perspektif analisis si peneliti, melainkan melalui subjek penelitian.Penelitian ini menempuh tiga tahap yakni: (1) tahap orientasi, studi kelayakan terhadap masalah dan subjek penelitian; (2) tahap eksplorasi, penyiapan instrumen–instumen penelitian yang diperlukan dan (3) tahap member-check, upaya memperoleh validitas dan reliabilitas hasil penelitian sebagai bahan penyusunan hasil penelitian Hasil dan temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) internalisasi terjadi pada Riset Aksi yang melibatkan pemanfaatan suatu metoda perencanaan siklis sistematis, pengambilan tindakan, pengamatan, evaluasi (mencakup evaluasi diri) dan refleksi kritis sebelum perencanaan siklus berikutnya. Internalisasi kerjasama pada KKM berbasis PAR terlihat pada caranya yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman bagaimana perubahan dalam aksi seseorang atau praktek seseorang dapat satu sama lain bermanfaat bagi masyarakat; (2) proses internalisasi kerjasama pada KKM berbasis PAR ialah terjadi pada saat mahasiswa melakukan Mapping, Seasonal Calender, Diagram Venn, Time Line, Trend and Change, Matrix rangking dan Diagram alur sehingga situasi pembelajaran menjadi dinamis, partisipatif dan kolaboratif; (3) model internalisasi nilai kerjasama yang dapat dikembangkan dari KKM berbasis PAR di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon ialah melalui pelaksanaan PAR yang partisipatoris, praktek sosial, kolaboratif, emansipatoris, kritis, reflektif dan transformatif. ABSTRACT PARTNERSHIP VALUE INTERNALIZATION OF COMMUNITY SERVICE OF PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH BASED AS AN EFFORT OF ALTRUISM BUILDING (A Case in Model Development at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon) The phenomenon of the fragility of the values of partnership such as: poor service, poor social concerns, lack of discipline, lack of empathy for social issues are as terms closely related to the lack of prosocial behaviour. The importance of social concerns and one of them is the partnership among us, is characterized by local wisdom has become its own value in term of the Developmental Model of Community Service in higher education. Therefore, empathy and tolerance become the basic values that should be developed both in process and output of education. These arrangements require a core value of Communal Morality that underlies the process of familiarization, habituation, learning, and modeling (internalization). The Process of Community Services are Participatory Action Research (PAR) based, a Community Service Model was developed by IAIN Sheikh Nurjati since 2005 upto now. So, the author examine the circumstances, situations and developmental model of partnership value internalization of Community Service of Participatory Action Research based as an effort of altruism building at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. The focus of this research is directed at the process of internalizing the value of partnership among students in the implementation of Participatory Action Research based at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. It implicates for the students’s character building in term of the Wider Community Service. Research questions posed in this study is (1) How the Implementation of Partnership Value Internalization of Community Service of Participatory Action Research based at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon is ?, (2) What kind of Partnership Situation in the Internalization of Participatory Action Research based at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon?; And (3) What Efforts can be developed from the Implementation of Partnership Value Internalization of Community Service of Participatory Action Research based at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon?. This research uses Case Studies, with a Qualitative Approach and used as Background Research is IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon, is based on the consideration that since the academic year 2006 up to now, IAIN Sheikh Nurjati has implemented Participatory Action Research as a choice of Community Services. These findings were analyzed qualitatively in accordance with the concepts, principles, characteristics and qualitative research procedures, use of the concepts and classifications that are not only research subjects through the researchers' analysis perspective, but through this research subject. This research subject does three stages namely: (1) Orientation Stage, a feasibility study on the problems and subjects, (2) Exploration Stage, preparation of research instruments and (3) Member-Check Stage, efforts to obtain validity and reliability of research results as a material for preparing the research. Results and findings showed that: (1) Internalization occurs on Action Research involving the use of a systematic cyclical method of planning, taking action, observation, evaluation (including self-evaluation) and critical reflection before planning the next cycle. Partnership Value Internalization of Community Service of Participatory Action Research based as an effort of altruism building, it was seen in the way that aims to improve understanding of how changes in one's action or practice with each other one can benefit the community, (2) the Process of Partnership Value Internalization of Participatory Action Research based in Community Service going on when students do Mapping, Seasonal Calendar, Venn Diagram, Time Line, Trend and Change, Matrix Ranking and Flow Chart, so that the learning situation is more dynamic, participative and collaborative; (3) Internalization Model of Partnership can be developed by Participatory Action Research based of Community Service at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon, social practices, collaborative, emancipatory, critical, reflective and transformative situations.
