    Abstract

voli UPI putri Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel
(2). Terdapat pengaruh yang
signifikan penerapan metode latihan tabata terhadap peningkatan kapasitas anaerobik.

This study aims to determine the effect of the tabata training method on increasing the
aerobic and anaerobic capacity of women's volleyball. The method used in this study is
an experimental method using One Group Pre-test Post-Test Design. The population and
sample involved in this study were UPI women's volleyball UKM, Universitas Pendidikan
Indonesia. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique as many as 12
athletes. The research instruments used were MFT (multistage fitness test) foraerobic tests
and RAST (Running Anaerobic Sprint Test) for anaerobic tests. The data analysis
technique used a quantitative approach, with a pre-hypothesis test, namely normality
testing, and hypothesis testing using a paired sample test using SPSS 16 software. From
the results of the study, it was shown (1). There is a significant effect of the application of
the tabata training method on the results of increasing aerobic capacity. (2). There is a
significant effect of the application of the tabata training method on increasing anaerobic
    capacity.
