Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterlambatan berbicara anak usia delapan tahun. Reni anak usia delapan tahun ini, hanya memiliki perbendaharaan kosakata yang terbilang minim sehingga berdampak pada produksi bunyi yang tidak utuh. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti produksi bunyi anak keterlambatan berbicara dengan menggunakan kajian psikolinguistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori psikolinguistik, keterlambatan berbicara, dan fonetik. Fokus kajian dalam teori psikolinguistik yaitu produksi bunyi anak keterlambatan berbicara. Adapun metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Berikut tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, 1) memperoleh deskripsi produksi bunyi pada penderita keterlambatan berbicara; dan 2) memperoleh deskripsi faktor penyebab gangguan deskripsi produksi bunyi pada penderita keterlambatan berbicara. Kata kunci: psikolinguistik, keterlambatan berbicara, produksi bunyi. ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the delay in speaking children aged eight years. Reni, an eight-year-old child, only has a relatively minimal vocabulary, which results in incomplete sound production. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining the sound production of speech-delayed children using psycholinguistic studies. This research uses psycholinguistic theory, speech delay, and phonetics. The focus of the study in psycholinguistic theory is the sound production of children with speech delays. The research method is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation, field notes, and documentation techniques. The objectives of this study are 1) to obtain a description of the sound production in patients with speech delays; and 2) to obtain a description of the factors causing speech production description disorders in people with speech delays.
