Abstract

Keterampilan pemecahan masalah sangat penting dan dibutuhkan oleh siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Penilaian proses pembelajaran untuk mendapatkan keterampilan tersebut tidak hanya menilai dari hasil akhir atau output saja melainkan dapat dilihat dari proses perkembangan siswa. Salah satunya dengan penilaian portofolio. Kemudian, untuk mendukung prosesnya, pembelajaran sains harus berpacu pada kegiatan siswa melalui inkuiri, salah satunya ialah model pembelajaran Community of Inquiry (CoI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa berdasarkan penerapan penilaian portofolio, memaparkan keterlaksanaan penerapan portofolio dan sintaks model pembelajaran CoI, serta memperoleh informasi mengenai respon siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini terdiri dari: 1) LKPD berbasis masalah, 2) LKPD praktikum, 3) laporan praktikum, 4) lembar observasi keterlaksanaan dan 5) angket respon siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kriteria nilai tiap aspek keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada siswa setelah penerapan penialian portofolio yaitu: 1) tinggi pada aspek mengidentifikasi masalah , (2) sangat tinggi pada aspek menganalisis masalah, (3) tinggi pada aspek menemukan alternatif-alternatif solusi, (4) tinggi pada aspek menemukan alternatif atau solusi terbaik, (5) sangat tinggi pada aspek kelancaran memecahkan masalah, dan (6) tinggi pada aspek kualitas hasil pemecahan masalah. Keterlaksanaan penerapan penilaian portofolio yaitu 85,7% atau hampir seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran terlaksana, keterlaksanaan sintak model pembelajaran CoI yaitu 100% atau seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran terlaksana, respon siswa sebesar 85,7% atau hampir seluruh siswa setuju dengan penerapan penilaian portofolio. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penilaian portofolio dapat diterapkan untuk menilai keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata semua aspek keterampilan pemecahan masalah termasuk ke dalam kriteria tinggi. Kata kunci: keterampilan pemecahan masalah, penilaian portofolio, pencemaran lingkungan, community of inquiry   ABSTRACT Student Problem Solving Skills Based the Implementation of Portfolio Assessment on Environmental Pollution Materials in the Community of Inquiry (CoI) Model Dede Wildatul Mutia 1604406 Problem solving skills are very important and needed by students to face the challenges of the 21st century. Assessment of the learning process to acquire these skills is not only judging from the final result or output but can be seen from the student development process. One of them is portfolio assessment. Then, to support the process, science learning must be based on student activities through inquiry, one of which is the Community of Inquiry (CoI) learning model. This study aims to describe students' problem solving skills based on the application of portfolio assessment, describe the implementation of the portfolio and the syntax of the CoI learning model, and obtain information about student responses to the learning activities carried out. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. The instruments used for this study consisted of: 1) problem-based LKPD, 2) practicum LKPD, 3) practicum reports, 4) implementation observation sheets and 5) student response questionnaires to learning activities. Based on the results of the research, the criteria for the value of each aspect of problem-solving skills in students after the application of portfolio assessment are: 1) high on the aspect of identifying problems, (2) very high on the aspect of analyzing problems, (3) high on the aspect of finding alternative solutions, (4 ) is high on the aspect of finding the best alternative or solution, (5) very high on the aspect of fluency in solving problems, and (6) high on the quality aspect of problem solving results. The implementation of portfolio assessment is 85.7% or almost all learning activities are carried out, the implementation of CoI learning model syntax is 100% or all learning activities are carried out, student responses are 85.7% or almost all students agree with the implementation of portfolio assessment. So it can be concluded that portfolio assessment can be applied to assess students' problem solving skills as evidenced by the average value of all aspects of problem solving skills included in the high criteria.
