Abstract
Voltage stability has an important role in the electrical system, because that use for maintain the voltage value in the system when normal condition or in a state of disturbance. The voltage stability system is one of the factors that we need to consider in the planning and operation of the electric power system. In this study, the voltage stability of the East Java Paiton-Grati subsystem will be examined using the FVSI (Fast Voltage Stability index) and LQP (Line Stability Factor) methods using two load periods on May 16, 2018 at 08.00 WIB and 20.00 WIB. the index results show a number below 1 (one) then the voltage condition is stable. The calculation results of FVSI (Fast Voltage Stability index) and LQP (Line Stability Factor) in this study show that all bus lines are below 1 (one). During the load period at 08.00 WIB, the FVSI (Fast Voltage Stability index) and LQP (Line Stability Factor) values were the largest is channel from Gendong Wetan to Rejoso with a value of 0.04805 and Paiton to Situbondo delivery channel with a value of 0.07892. Meanwhile, in the load period at 20.00 WIB, the highest FVSI (Fast Voltage Stability index) and LQP (Line Stability Factor) values are both on the Paiton to Situbonndo channel with values of 0.08857 and 0.09748. Keyword: Voltage Stability, FVSI Fast Voltage Stability index), LQP (Line Stability Factor), system East Java subsystem Paiton-Grati.
