Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penurunan kinerja karyawan pada PT. Infomedia Nusantara Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan employee engagement sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 350 karyawan PT. Infomedia Nusantara Bandung divisi Inbound Call Center, dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 100 Kayawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dan Cluster Sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu PLS-SEM. Temuan penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (i) pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement; (ii) kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement; (iii) pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; (iv) kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; (v) employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; (vi) employee engagement secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan; (vii) employee engagement memediasi pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja karyawan. This research is motivated by a decrease in employee performance at PT. Infomedia Nusantara Bandung. This study aims to determine the effect of training and competence on employee performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable. The method used in this research is an kuantitatif. The population in this study were 350 employees of PT. Infomedia Nusantara Bandung, with a sample size of 100 rich. The sampling technique used random sampling and cluster sampling. The data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM. The findings of this study found that: (i) training had a positive and significant effect on employee engagement; (ii) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement; (iii) training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (iv) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (v) employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; (vi) employee engagement significantly mediates the effect of training on employee performance; (vii) employee engagement does mediates the effect of competence on employee performance.
