Abstract
Gema Azza Amalia. 2013. Hubungan Antara Goal Orientation dengan Quality of Work Life pada karyawan perusahaan swasta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data empirik mengenai goal orientation dan quality of work life karyawan perusahaan swasta serta melihat korelasi dari keduanya. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 71 subjek yang merupakan karyawan dari beberapa perusahaan swasta. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik studi korelasi. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara goal orientation dengan QWL karena p < 0,05 dan hasil korelasi yang terjadi antara goal orientation dengan QWL adalah 0,344. Untuk meningkatkan QWL pada karyawan, perusahaan harus mampu meningkatkan goal orientation karyawan dengan cara menumbuhkan motivasi kerja karyawan. Kata Kunci : Goal Orientation, Quality of Work Life, QWL. The purpose of this research is to analyze the relation between goal orientation and QWL. The subject of this research contains 71 subjects including employees from some private companies. And this research used quantitative research method as its research method with study-correlation technique. Technique used for obtaining data was by collecting questionnaires. Based on the analysis result, there is a significant correlation between goal orientation and QWL since p < 0,05 and the results of the correlation between goal orientation with QWL is 0.344. The correlation which happens between goal orientation and QWL is adequate. To improve QWL on employees, companies should be able to increase the goal orientation of employees by growing the employee motivation. Key Words : Goal Orientation, Quality of Work Life, QWL.
