Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kelekatan dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 88 siswa kelas 6 SDN Sukagalih Bandung yang dipilih dengan metode populasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara ketiga komponen gaya kelekatan dengan motivasi belajar. Selain itu semua komponen gaya kelekalatan, yaitu gaya kelekatan aman dan cemas berkorelasi positif dan signifikan dengan motivasi belajar siswa, kecuali gaya kelekatan menghindar berkorelasi negatif dan signifikan dengan motivasi belajar siswa. Diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini, hendaknya pihak sekolah terutama guru dapat meningkatkan kelekatan dan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, yaitu lingkungan yang nyaman untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar. Misalnya dengan cara mewajibkan guru menyambut dengan ramah dan sapaan salam ketika bertemu dengan siswa, sehingga siswa merasa senang ketika berinteraksi dengan guru

This research is aimed to reveal the relationship between attachment with the students’ motivation. The participants of this research are 88 6th grade students of SDN Sukagalih Bandung, that chosen by the population method. This research uses quantitative approach with a correlation method. The result of the research shows there is significant relationship between the three components of attachment style with the students’ motivation. In addition, all the components of attachment style, namely secure and anxiety correlated positively and significantly with the students’ motivation, except avoidant attachment correlated negatively and significantly with the students’ motivation. From this research, teachers are expected to be able to raise the student's motivation of learning, by creating a comfortable learning condition, for example, by ruling the teachers to welcome the students friendly, and greet them when they meet, so they'll feel excited when they interact with the teachers.
