Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi persoalan pembelajaran seni musik di Kelas VII SMP negeri 43 Rejang Lebong dimana siswa belum memahami dan mendapatkan pendalaman materi seni musik tentang ritme musik. Ritmik merupakan salah satu unsur musik yang sangat penting, ketika peserta didik tidak mampu memahami rasa ritmik, dampaknya peserta didik akan mengalami kesulitan dalam praktik bermusik. Untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut peneliti menerapakan sebuah media yang dinamakan Musik Kelas. Musik Kelas merupakan sebuah media dimana dalam penerapannya memanfaatkan benda-benda di dalam kelas sebagai alat untuk bermain musik. Metode DBR (Design Based Research) dipergunakan untuk menemukan desain media yang sesuai untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam penelitian. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari pengumpulan data berupa data observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, tes dan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa desain Musik Kelas berhasil memperkuat rasa ritmik siswa, karena keaktifan dan kegiatan praktek musik yang dilaksanakan. Kata Kunci: Ritmik, DBR (Design Based Research) Media Musik Kelas Abstract This research is motivated by the problem of learning the art of music in Class VII of SMP 43 Rejang Lebong where students do not understand and get deepening of the art material of music about musical rhythm. Rhythm is one of the most important elements of music, when students are not able to understand rhythmic feelings, the impact is that students will experience difficulties in musical practice. To solve this problem the researcher applied a medium called Class Music. Class music is a medium which in its application makes use of objects in the classroom as a tool for playing music. The DBR (Design Based Research) method is used to find suitable media designs to solve problems in research. Research data obtained from data collection in the form of observation data, interviews, documentation, tests and questionnaires. The results of the study found that the Classroom Music design succeeded in strengthening the rhythmic feeling of the students, because of the activeness and practical musical activities carried out.
