Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam skripsi ini adalah penggunaan program Microsoft Mathematics untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek pemahaman (C2) dan aspek penerapan (C3). Kajian teori yang digunakan berdasarkan konsep pembelajaran matematika serta konsep pemilihan dan penentuan media pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain pretest-posttest serta instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian sebanyak 10 soal. Data penelitian terlebih dahulu dideskripsikan dan dilakukan pengujian hipotesis, kemudian di analisis. Selanjutnya hasil analisa tersebut di kaji dan di bahas serta dibuat kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 2 Kota Cirebon yang terletak di Jl. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo No.1 Cirebon Kode Pos. 45131. Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yakni siswa siswi kelas X SMAN 2 Kota Cirebon. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster sampling. Kelas yang terpilih sebagai kelompok eksperimen adalah kelas X-2 dan kelas yang dipilih sebagai kelompok kontrol adalah kelas X-3. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan Microsoft Mathematics dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan pada pokok bahasan persamaan kuadrat. Problem studied in this thesis is the use of Microsoft's Mathematics program to improve students' understanding of the cognitive aspects (C2) and aspects of the application of (C3). Study of the theory used is based on the concept of learning mathematics and the concept of election and the determination of learning media. The study was conducted by using a quantitative approach using the method of quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design and research instruments as well as a description of the test as many as 10 questions. Data research first described and performed testing the hypothesis, then in the analysis. Further results of the analysis in the review and discussed and conclusions made. The research was conducted in SMAN 2 Cirebon located on Jl. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Cirebon ZIP code. 45 131. Population is taken in this study that students of class X SMAN 2 Cirebon. Sampling technique used in this study is cluster sampling. Classes are selected as the experimental group is the class X-2 and class selected as a control group is a class X-3. These results prove that the use of Microsoft Mathematics can improve student learning outcomes significantly on the subject of quadratic equations.
