    Abstract

    Praktik industri (PI) merupakan proses pembelajaran yang wajib diambil oleh mahasiswa di Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro (DPTE) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap sistem informasi Electronic Journal (E-Journal) PI di DPTE UPI yang telah dirancang sbelumnya. Sistem tersebut dibuat menggunakan teknologi berbasis website yang interaktif antara tiga komponen utama yaitu mahasiswa, dosen pembimbing serta pembimbing industri. Web Sistem PI memuat fitur berita PI, jadwal PI, pendaftaran, laporan jurnal harian, portofolio, laporan akhir dan bimbingan online melaui sistem chating. PHP, CodeIgniter, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Database MySQL dan Apache Web Server adalah teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan Sistem PI. Dalam penelitian ini lebih difokuskan kepada implementasi fitur sistem informasi E-Journal PI dengan cara mendemonstrasikan kepada mahasiswa yang telah melaksanakan praktik industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan sebagai media komunikasi yang efektif bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam program PI.; Internship is a learning process that must be taken by students in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education (DPTE) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). This study aims to get the response of students about information systems of Electronic Journal (E-Journal) in DPTE UPI has been created. The system is made using a technology-based interactive website between three main components, namely students, lecturers and industry mentors. Web PI System includes news features PI, PI schedule, registration, report daily journal, a portfolio, a final report and guidance through the online chat system. PHP, CodeIgniter, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, MySQL database and Apache Web Server is technology used to develop the E-Journal System. In this research focused on the implementation of the features E-Journal by demonstrating to students who have been carrying out internship. The results showed that the prototype can be used as an effective of communication system for all those involved in the internship program.
