Abstract
Di era globalisasi, kebudayaan tradisional seolah menjadi terasingkan. Generasi muda lebih tertarik dengan budaya luar dan disibukan dengan teknologi. Namun demikian, kesenian Rampak Bedug masih bertahan di tengah era globalisasi yang mengancam eksistensi kesenian tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi masyarakat Pandeglang terhadap kesenian Rampak Bedug; proses pewarisan kesenian Rampak Bedug di Kabupaten Pandeglang: serta masalah dan solusi yang ditempuh dalam upaya pewarisannya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa proses pewarisan terjadi dengan cara sosialisasi dan enkulturasi. Selain itu ada nilai yang di anggap penting oleh masyarakat yaitu, nilai religius, teori, ekonomi, sosial, dan estetis. In the era of globalization, traditional culture seems to be alienated. The younger generation is more interested in foreign cultures and preoccupied with technology. However, the art of Rampak Bedug still survives in the midst of globalization that threatens the existence of traditional arts. This study aims to determine how the perception of the Pandeglang community towards the art of Rampak Bedug; the process of inheriting the art of Rampak Bedug in Pandeglang Regency: as well as the problems and solutions taken in the inheritance efforts. This research is a qualitative research using case studies. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the inheritance process occurs by means of socialization and enculturation. In addition, there are values that are considered important by society, namely, religious, theoretical, economic, social and aesthetic values.
