Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang bertitik tolak dari masalah umum yaitu; Apakah terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture berbantu media puzzle dengan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif card sort pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Secara khusus yaitu; Apakah terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar siswa aspek cognitive motives, self-expression dan self-enhancement antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture berbantu media puzzle dengan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif card sort pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent class control group bentuk pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket bentuk tertutup. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini secara klaster gugus. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa pada aspek cognitive motives, self-expression dan self-enhancement menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture berbantu media puzzle lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran card sort pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia di kelas VIII SMP Labschool UPI. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil perbandingan skor yang diperoleh siswa dan data yang telah diuji. The research aims to answer research problems starting from common problems namely; Are there differences in student motivation between those who use cooperative learning models picture and picture assisted by puzzle media with those using the card sort cooperative learning model in the human digestive system on natural science subjects. Specifically ; Are there differences in student studying motivation in cognitive aspects, self-expression and self-enhancement between those who use the picture and picture cooperative learning model assisted by puzzle media with those who use the card sort cooperative learning model in the human digestive system on natural science subjects? The research method used is a quasi-experimental research design with a non equivalent class control group in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used in this study was a closed-form questionnaire. Sampling in this study was cluster group. It can be concluded that students' motivation in the aspects of cognitive motives, self-expression and self-enhancement uses a cooperative learning model of picture and picture aided by media puzzle higher than students who used the card sort learning model in the human digestive system on natural science subjects in class VIII of SMP Labschool UPI. This is proven by the results of comparison scores obtained by students and data that has been tested.
