Abstract

ABSTRAK Kawasan Situ Lengkong Panjalu dipercaya merupakan pusat kebudayaan Islam di Ciamis Utara, oleh karena itu Situ Lengkong menjadi wisata unggulan di kabupaten Ciamis. Adanya atraksi wisata religi, berupa kegiatan upacara keagamaan yang unik yaitu upacara Nyangku menjadi salah satu daya tarik wisata ini. Namun, wisata religi ini belum berkembang sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Berbagai potensi yang ada belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi wisata religi, merancang strategi pengembangan wisata religi dan mengetahui respon masyarakat sekitar terhadap pengembangan wisata religi di Situ Panjalu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang menggambarkan kondisi sebenarnya dari wisata Situ Panjalu yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi wisata religi pada objek wisata Situ Panjalu berada pada kelas II, yaitu kawasan objek wisata Situ Panjalu yang memiliki potensi tinggi untuk kegiatan pariwisata, khususnya adalah wisata religi. Pengembangan memerlukan suatu strategi yang terencana dan terstruktur agar potensi yang dimiliki bisa dikembangkan secara optimal. Strategi pengembangan wisata religi Situ Panjalu direkomendasikan untuk memfokuskan pengembangan pada beberapa aspek dengan urutan aksesibilitas, atraksi wisata, kemudian fasilitas wisata. Adapun Perencanaan pengembangan wisata religi ini mendapatkan respon yang positif dari masyarakat di sekitar lokasi wisata yang dianalisis berdasarkan sikap, persepsi, dan partisipasi masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Wisata religi, Pengembangan Wisata, Respon masyarakat, ABSTRACT Situ Lengkong Panjalu area is believed to be the center of Islamic culture in North Ciamis, therefore Situ Lengkong is a leading tourist attraction in Ciamis district. The existence of religious tourism attractions, in the form of a unique religious ceremony, the Nyangku ceremony, is one of the attractions of this tour. However, this religious tourism has not developed as expected. The various potentials that exist have not been used optimally. This study aims to analyze the potential of religious tourism, design strategies for developing religious tourism and determine the response of the surrounding community to the development of religious tourism in Situ Panjalu. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach that describes the actual conditions of the Situ Panjalu tourism under study. The results showed that the potential of religious tourism in Situ Panjalu tourism object is in class II, namely the Situ Panjalu tourism object area which has high potential for tourism activities, especially religious tourism. Development requires a well-planned and structured strategy so that its potential can be optimally developed. The strategy for developing religious tourism in Situ Panjalu is recommended to focus the development on several aspects in the order of accessibility, tourist attractions, then tourist facilities. The planning for the development of religious tourism has received a positive response from the community around the tourist location which is analyzed based on attitudes, perceptions, and community participation.
