Abstract
Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah masih adanya proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) pada program keahlian Desain pemodelan dan Informasi bangunan (DPIB) terkhusus pada mata pelajaran ilmu ukur tanah yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dan belum mampu memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran proyek seperti profesional pada bidang survei dan pemetaan, sehingga proses pembelajaran belum mampu meningkatkan ketarampilan yang dibutuhkan dunia kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan konsep desain, sintaksis, dan perangkat yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran project based learning pada mata pelajaran ilmu ukur tanah di SMK. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode Research and Development secara terbatas, hanya sampai pada tahapan pengembangan. Pada proses pengembangan produk yang menjadi acuan adalah model ADDIE secara terbatas, hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Validasi dari produk pengembangan dilakukan secara Focus Group Discussion dengan tiga ahli merupakan doesen pendidikan teknik bangunan Upi dan satu ahli merupakan guru mata pelajaran ilmu ukur tanah SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah. Hasil dari validasi yang dilakukan ahli didapatkan presentase 83,42% setelah dikonversi pada skala 100 yang dapat disimpulkan produk pengembangan sangat memadai dan layak digunakan tanpa revisi. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan untuk guru agar dapat mengimplementasikan produk pengembangan dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat mengembangkan penelitian sesuai tahapan pada metode Research and Development. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Project Based Learning, Ilmu Ukur Tanah, SMK. Background of this research is there is still a learning process in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) expertise program, especially in the field of surveying that uses conventional learning models and has not been able to provide project learning experiences like professionals in survey and mapping, so the learning process has not been able to improve the skills needed in work. The purpose of this research is to develop design concepts, syntax, and tools that used in project based learning in soil surveying subjects in vocational schools. The method in this research is the limited Research and Development method, only up to the development stage. In the product development process, the reference is the ADDIE model in a limited way, only up to the development stage. The validation of the development product was carried out by means of a Focus Group Discussion with three experts representing Upi building engineering education and one expert being a teacher of land surveying in SMK Negeri 7 Baleendah. The results of the validation by experts obtained a percentage of 83.42% after being converted on a scale of 100 which can be concluded that the development product is very adequate and suitable for use without revision. The resulting recommendations for teachers to be able to implement development products in the learning process. For future researchers to be able to develop research according to the stages in the Research and Development method.
