Abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas tentang Peran FPPTI (Forum Perpustakaan Perguruan
Tinggi) di tingkat wilayah dalam melakukan kerjasama pada aspek pemenuhan kebutuhan
informasi. . Kasus ini mengambil fokus di salah satu perpustakaan anggota yaitu,
Perpustakaan STIE Ekuitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat realisasi kerjasama
yang dilakukan oleh FPPTI Jawa Barat dengan anggotanya. Alasan Perpustakaan STIE
Ekuitas menjalin kerjasama, kendala pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi dan realisasi
kerjasama pada forum FPPTI Jawa Barat menjadi tiga bahasan yang diteliti dalam
penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, studi deksriptif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kerjasama yang dijalin oleh Perpustakaan
STIE Ekuitas dan FPPTI DKI Jakarta merupakan kerjasama koleksi. Pada kerjasama ini,
Perpustakaan STIE Ekuitas dapat mengakses secara online jurnal Ekonomi di “Gale
Cengage Learning” yang dikelola oleh FPPTI DKI Jakarta untuk dapat memenuhi
kebutuhan informasi, khususnya koleksi jurnal ekonomi (2) Kerjasama yang ada di
FPPTI Jawa Barat dilakukan secara umum dengan sasaran seluruh anggota agar lebih
efektif. Saat ini, kerjasama di FPPTI Jawa Barat belum sampai pada tahap memenuhi
kebutuhan yang lebih spesifik untuk masing-masing anggotanya..(3) FPPTI Jawa Barat
sebagai organisasi yang menaungi Perpustakaan STIE Ekuitas memberikan kerjasama dil
luar forum untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi anggotanya.

Abstract. This current research analyzed the role of FPPTI (Forum Perpustakaan
Perguruan Tinggi) at regional level in making collaboration on the aspect of fulfilling
information needs. This case focuses on one of the member libraries namely, Ekuitas
Library. This research was conducted to see the realization of the cooperation carried
out by FPPTI West Java and its members. The reasons for the Ekuitas Library to
collaborate, the constraints in fulfilling the information needs and the realization of
cooperation in FPPTI West Java are the three topics examined in this study. The method
used is a qualitative approach and descriptive study. The results of this study indicate
that: (1) The collaboration established by the Jakarta Ekuitas Library and FPPTI Jakarta
is a collection collaboration. In this collaboration, the Ekuitas Library can access the
Economics journal online at "Gale Cengage Learning" which is managed by FPPTI DKI
Jakarta to be able to meet information needs, especially the collection of economic
journals. members to be more effective. Currently, the cooperation in FPPTI West Java
has not yet reached the stage of fulfilling specific needs for each of its members. (3)
FPPTI West Java as an organization that houses the Ekuitas Library provides
cooperation outside the forum to fulfill the information needs of its members.
