Abstract

Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat belum mengoptimalkan manfaat tanaman obat keluarga dalam perawatan kesehatan keluarga, karena tidak semua mengetahui fungsi dan cara pengolahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapat peserta tentang hasil penyuluhan tanaman obat keluarga dan pemanfaatannya dalam perawatan kesehatan keluarga di RW.02 KPAD Geger Kalong berkaitan dengan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dengan sampel penelitian Ibu Rumah Tangga yang memiliki tanaman obat keluarga dan mengikuti penyuluhan tanaman obat keluarga sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendapat peserta penyuluhan tanaman obat keluarga berada pada kriteria tinggi meliputi kemampuan pengetahuan dan sikap, serta pada kriteria cukup dalam kemampuan keterampilan memilih, mengolah dan menggunakan tanaman obat keluarga dalam perawatan kesehatan keluarga.

The problem of the study is that society has not optimalized the benefit of family medicinal plant yet in the family health treatment since not all of them know the functions and the production process of family medicine plant. Due to the issue, this study aims to determine the participant’s opinion of the family medicinal plant councelling outcome and the utilization of family health treathment in RW 02 KPAD Geger Kalong which are related to knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The methodology used in this study is descriptive methodology by employing 30 housewives as samples who have family medicinal plant and are included as the participant of the councelling. As a result, the participant’s opinion in relation to the family medicinal plant councelling is at the high criteria including knowledge and attitude competence. While the selection, cultivation, and application of family medicine plant in the family health treathment is at the middle criteria.
