Abstract

Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai efektivitas proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran ekonomi SMA Negeri di kota Bandung. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas proses pembelajaran yaitu kompetensi guru. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran ekonomi SMA Negeri di kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Survey Eksplanatory. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah Stratified Random Sampling dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 guru dari 9 sampel sekolah terpilih. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik observasi dengan menggunakan lembar pengamatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru dan efektivitas proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran ekonomi SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung berada pada kategori sedang. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa guru mata pelajaran ekonomi SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung telah memiliki kemampuan yang cukup baik. Begitu pun dengan efektivitas proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran ekonomi SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung sudah cukup efektif. Dengan demikian kompetensi guru berpengaruh secara positif terhadap efektivitas proses pembelajaran. Semakin tinggi kompetensi yang dimiliki guru maka proses pembelajaran akan semakin efektif. Oleh karena itu, saran yang direkomendasikan agar guru senantiasa meningkatkan kualitas mengajar serta mampu untuk lebih mengoptimalkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran dengan meningkatkan kompetensi yang dimiliki. Abstract Issues to be studied in this research is on the effectiveness of the learning process on economic subjects high schools in the city of Bandung. Core studies focused on factors that influence the effectiveness of the learning process of teacher competence. Accordingly, this study aims to determine influence the effectiveness of teacher competence on the learning process. Subjects in this study were high school economic teachers in the city of Bandung. The method used in this study is a survey method explanatory. Sampling technique used is stratified random sampling with a sample of 30 teachers from 9 schools selected samples. Data collection techniques in this study is observational techniques using the observation sheet. Results of this study indicate that teacher competence and effectiveness of the learning process on economic subjects high schools in the city of Bandung in middle category. It shows that economic subjects teacher high schoools in the city of Bandung has had a pretty good ability. So even with the effectiveness of the learning process on economic subjects high schools in Bandung is quite effective. Thus the teacher’s competence has positive effect on the effectiveness of the learning process. The higher the competency of the teachers and the learning process willbe more effective. Therefore, the suggestion that it is recommended that teachers constantly improve the quality of teaching and be able to further optimize the effectiveness of the learning process to improve their competence.
