Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses penilaian yang dilakukan pada mata pelajaran Dasar Proses Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian (DPPHP) pada penerapannya belum mampu membuat siswa mengetahui sejauh mana materi yang sudah dipahami dan belum dipahami. Selain itu tidak adanya penggunaan teknologi informasi untuk memberikan wawasan secara real-time kepada siswa tentang materi yang dipelajari, sehingga hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu bentuk assessment dan teknologi informasi yang berorientasi pada proses sekaligus memberikan feedback untuk perbaikan proses belajar mengajar berupa pengetahuan tentang hasil belajar siswa adalah formative assessment dengan aplikasi plickers. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan penerapan formative assessment menggunakan aplikasi Plickers, mengetahui hasil belajar aspek kognitif dan afektif pada pembelajaran dengan penerapan formative assessment menggunakan aplikasi Plickers dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan formative assessment menggunakan aplikasi Plickers. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu Quasy eksperiment melalui non-equivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah siswa kelas X Agroindustri dan X APHP 1 yang secara berurutan dikelompokkan dalam kelas eksperimen (22 orang) dan kelas kontrol (22 orang). Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu : 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan penerapan formative assessment menggunakan aplikasi Plickers dikategorikan sangat baik dengan seluruh aktivitas guru terlaksana; 2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen termasuk kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol dengan kategori rendah, selain itu hasil pengamatan observer terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa ditinjau pada aspek afektif untuk kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sangat baik sedangkan kelas kontrol berada pada kategori baik; 3) penerapan formative assessment dengan aplikasi Plickers mendapatkan respon positif dengan kategori sangat baik berdasarkan angket respon siswa. In addition there is no use of information technology to provide real-time insights to students about the material being studied, so that it affects student learning outcomes. One form of assessment and information technology that is process-oriented while providing feedback to improve teaching and learning in the form of knowledge about student learning outcomes is formative assessment with plickers application.The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of learning by applying formative assessment using the Plickers application, knowing the learning outcomes on the cognitive and affective aspects of learning by applying formative assessment using the Plickers application and to determine students' responses to learning with formative assessment using the Plickers application. The research method used is Quasy experiment through non-equivalent control group design. The sample used in this study was students of class X Agroindustry and APHP 1 X which were sequentially grouped in the experimental class (22 people) and the control class (22 people). The research results obtained are: 1) the implementation of learning by applying formative assessment using the Plickers application is categorized very well with all teacher activities carried out; 2) there are differences in student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects between the experimental class and the control class with the average N-Gain in the experimental class (0.486) included in the medium category and the control class (0.266) with the low category, in addition to the observers' observations of Student learning activities are reviewed on the affective aspects for the experimental class in the very good category while the control class is in the good category; 3) the application of formative assessment with the Plickers application gets a positive response with an excellent category based on the student response questionnaire.
