Abstract
Perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK) yang begitu pesat mempengaruhi berbagai aspek dalam kehidupan, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Saat ini penerapan teknologi dalam pendidikan khususnya kegiatan pembelajaran adalah memanfaatkan perangkat bergerak seperti smartphone dengan sistem operasi android dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan karena kurangnya media pembelajaran berbasis android khususnya pada bidang kimia. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Developmental Research dengan menerapkan model pengembangan ADDIE. Untuk mendapatkan konsep-konsep esensial dan karakteristik konten media dilakukan analisis terhadap wacana prinsip kerja larutan penyangga, sedangkan kelayakan media yang dihasilkan diperoleh melalui review dari dosen menggunakan lembar review dan tanggapan pendidik di lapangan menggunakan angket tanggapan pendidik, serta tanggapan dari peserta didik menggunakan angket tanggapan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik konten media teks, animasi dan video yang memuat konsep-konsep esensial definisi, deskripsi, prinsip kerja, dan perhitungan pH larutan penyangga. Berdasarkan review dan angket tanggapan, dari segi konten, kualitas media, dan desain instruksional memiliki kelayakan sehingga dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar ------ The development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) which is so increasing affects various aspects of life, including in the world of education. Currently applying technology in special education learning activities using mobile devices such as smartphones with the android operating system in teaching and learning activities. This research needs to be done because of the lack of Android-based learning media in the field of chemistry. The study was conducted using a method. Research Development using the ADDIE development model. To get the essential concepts and characteristics of media content, an analysis of the buffer completion work principle discourse, while the feasibility of the media produced is obtained through reviews from lecturers using review sheets and educator responses in the field using questionnaires, educators, and participants from students using questionnaires learners. The results showed that the Android-based learning media developed had the characteristics of text, animation and video media content which contained the basic concepts, definitions, work principles, and calculation of the pH of the buffer solution. Based on the reviews and responses, in terms of content, media quality, and instructional design have feasibility so that they can be used in teaching and learning activities.
