Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas organologi Suling Laras Gita buatan Ahmad Rijal Nasrullah di Kabupaten Cianjur. Secara bentuk Laras gita mempunyai bentuk yang unik dan belum dapat ditemukan di daerah manapun selain di Kabupaten Cianjur, serta Laras Gita masih belum diekspose secara luas dalam bentuk literatur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh bentuk terhadap produksi suara, pembuatan dan teknik memainkan suling Laras Gita. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kp. Bobojong 02/01, Desa Ciharashas, Kecamatan Cilaku, Kabupaten Cianjur, dengan Ahmad Rijal Nasrullah sebagai nasrasumber utama. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa yang pertama, suling laras gita yang dimainkan dengan scale diatonis dan pentatonis (Pelog, madenda),bagian organ laras gita terdiri dari sirah, tonggong, beungeut dan imbit. Kedua, suling laras gita terbuat dari pipa paralon dibentuk dengan cara dibakar, dilelehkan secara perlahan sampai membentuk busur panah kemudian dipotong dua dan dilubangi sehingga menghasilkan suara, bahan pipa pada laras Gita menimbulkan efek pada permainannya, terasa berat karena pergesekan udara yang tinggi dan kalor terkonsentrasi pada tabung pipa teknik bermain meliputi posisi duduk tegak rileks, posisi jari, posisi mulut,dan pernafasan dalam memainkan suling laras gita. This study discusses the organology of Suling Laras Gita made by Ahmad Rijal Nasrullah at Kabupaten Cianjur. Laras gita has a unique form and can not found in any region other than at Kabupaten Cianjur and for literature of Laras Gita is still not widely exposed. The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence form of Laras Gita’s on sound production, how to make and technique of playing the Suling Laras Gita. This research was conducted in Kp. Bobojong 02/01, Desa Ciharashas, Kecamatan Cilaku, kabupaten Cianjur, with Ahmad Rijal Nasrullah as the main source. The method used is descriptive analysis through a qualitative approach. The results showed that the first, Suling Laras Gita played with a diatonic and pentatonic scale (Pelog, madenda), the laras gita organ part consisted of sirah, tonggong, beungeut and imbit. Secondly, the Suling Laras Gita made of paralon pipe is formed by burning, melted slowly until it forms an arrow and then cut in two and perforated to produce sound, the pipe material on the Suling Laras Gita has an effect for played technique, feels heavy because of high air friction and concentrated heat in the pipe tube the playing technique includes an upright relaxed sitting position, finger position, mouth position, and breathing in playing the Suling Laras Gita.
