    Designing Small Office Home Office (SOHO) in Tangerang City

    ABSTRACT
    Tangerang City is one of the supporting city that builds Jakarta city development. So that it has an increasing citizen growth. The main problem that urban city has is it occurs high mobility, that makes distance and time valuable. As we know that an entrepreneur and freelance who have a flexible time needs a room to work like an office. Hence, the practical concept is highly interested by urban society, which is they have both house and work place that is close each other. Therefore, SOHO residence concept is required. It can make both time and budget seems effiecient. Soho concept focused an practical concept, it combines two functions residence and office as a commercial place. By this two functions, we take zoning concept that separates office area and SOHO residence itself. Having analyzed a room requirement, each SOHO unit has two floors. One floor is for office and the other one is for residence. The building typology for SOHO design has a two floor podium and three towers, eachother is filled according to the type that is concepted. In podium part, that combines those three towers provide supporting facilities like retail, cafetaria, coffee shop, grocery shop, fitness center, meeting room, and lounge. SOHO design concept in Tangerang city is expected to solve problems that society has, one of them is traffic. By implementing this SOHO concepted apartement, all daily needs can be reached in one step.
