Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai model pembelajaran Teaching Factory 6 langkah di Program Studi Keahlian Kuliner SMKN 9 Bandung. Tujuan umum pada penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh informasi serta gambaran mengenai pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory 6 langkah di Program Studi Keahlian Kuliner SMKN 9 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh SMK yang ditantang untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusannya sesuai dengan standar industri dan diharapkan dapat mendongkrak kualitas tenaga kerja Indonesia. Salah satu caranya dengan model pembelajaran yang inovatif yaitu model pembelajaran teaching factory 6 langkah dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam mata pelajaran produktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua program studi, guru, dan siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan model pembelajaran teaching factory sudah dirancang oleh pihak sekolah. Siklus model pembelajaran teaching factory dilakukan dalam 2 fase yaitu dilakukan didalam kelas pada proses pembelajaran dengan kompetensi pengetahuan dan sikap pada tahapan siklus menerima order, menganalisis order, dan menyatakan kesiapan order serta dilakukan di dalam lab pada proses pembelajaran dengan kompetensi keterampilan pada siklus mengerjakan order, quality control, dan menyerahkan order. Dalam Pelaksanaan teaching factory terdapat faktor pendukung yaitu produk yang beraneka ragam, SDM yang berkompeten, sarana dan prasaran yang mendukung, pemasaran yang optimal, dan lokasi yang mudah diakses serta terdapat faktor penghambat yaitu produk yang belum memiliki ciri khas dan tidak mampu bertahan dalam waktu yang cukup lama. ;---This study discusses about the model of 6-step teaching factory in culinary expertise study program SMKN 9 Bandung. The general purpose of this research is to obtain information and an overview of the implementation of the model of 6-step teaching factory in culinary expertise study program SMKN 9 Bandung. This research is motivated by SMK who are challenged to improve the quality of their graduates in accordance with industry standards and are expected to boost the quality of Indonesian workers. One way is with an innovative learning model, namely the learning model of the 6-step teaching factory with the aim of increasing student competence in productive subjects. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Participants in this study were chairman of culinary expertise study program, teaching factory teachers, and students. The location of this research at SMKN 9 Bandung. The instruments in this study used guidelines for observation, interviews and documentation. he results showed that the planning of the teaching factory learning model was designed by the school. The factory teaching learning model cycle is carried out in 2 phases, which are carried out in the classroom in the learning process with competency of knowledge and attitudes and carried out in the lab in the learning process with skill competencies. In the implementation of factory teaching there are supporting factors, namely diverse products, competent human resources, supporting facilities and infrastructure, optimal marketing, and easily accessible locations and there are inhibiting factors, namely products that do not yet have a characteristic and are unable to survive in the future long enough.
