Abstract

Setiap organisasi memiliki tata aturan dan perilaku yang memiliki fungsi untuk menciptakan pegawai yang berperilaku tertib dan sesuai norma, salah satunya yaitu disiplin. Disiplin merupakan modal awal dalam kelancaran pelaksanaan tugastugas oleh pegawai terutama pada Aparatur Sipil Negara yang masih kurang dari yang diharapkan.Berbagai pelanggaran masih sering dilakukan oleh pegawai. Tetapi, berbagai upaya telah dilakukan oleh pihak oganisasi, mulai dari pemberian himbauan, peringatan hingga pemberian sanksi bagi pelanggar. Banyak faktor yang dapat meningkatkan disiplin kerja pegawai, namun yang menarik peneliti pada penelitian ini adalah motivasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat.Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran Motivasi pegawai, Displin Kerja pegawai, serta pengaruh Motivasi terhadap Disiplin Kerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif, verifikatif. Kuisioner diberikan pada 60 responden dari total polulasi sebanyak 121 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Teknik analisis korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran motivasi termasuk kategori kuat dan disiplin kerja kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian lainnya menunjukkan bahwa motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap disiplin kerja. ;---Every organization has rules and behavior that have a function to create employees who behave in an orderly and appropriate manner, one of which is discipline. Discipline is the initial capital in the smooth implementation of duties by employees, especially in the State Civil Apparatus which is still less than expected. Various violations are still often carried out by employees. However, various efforts have been made by the organization, ranging from giving appeals, warnings to giving sanctions to violators. Many factors can improve employee work discipline, but what attracts researchers in this study is motivation. This research was conducted at the Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of employee motivation, Employee Work Discipline, and the influence of Motivation on the Work Discipline of employees. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method, verification. The questionnaire was given to 60 respondents from a total of 121 people. The analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation technique and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the picture of motivation includes the strong category and high category work discipline. The results of other studies show that motivation has a significant and positive influence on work discipline
